Found Deceased UT - Robert Spoon, 33, Jason, 33, & Jacob Tilt, 29, Vernal, 22 May 2017

Yeah, searching for cars or bodies under water is a huge task. I want them to look again too.

Just looked at a map ... Steinaker Lake is 7 miles from Vernal. That is concerning, too.

If family and friends are reading here: you may need to hire a private dive team, Toni Anderson's family wasn't getting the help and attention they needed from LE. For months, their concerns weren't being taken seriously. A hired dive team found her pretty quickly.

First if all, we need more information about them before dispatching any search efforts.

Loved ones should be working with LE to establish timeline. Did any of the know were these men were headed? Any idea what there were up to days before their disappearance? I tried to look to find more info, but there is not much besides the fact that they took off and have not seen again?

Other questions to answer...
1. Have they been involved in anything shady like drug trade, hanging out with the wrong crowd?
2. Why did the Chevy have temporary plates? Was it recently obtained (bought/traded)?
3. Are they known to leave without letting anybody know?

I just read the post that said the Green River was searched near Vernal and car parts were found on the riverbank. I felt like this was water before I ever read that post ... they need to search again because they are likely there. I've followed so many cases of vehicles in water but it's never where they look. Always further downstream, sometimes even the opposite direction, of where they think. Those men deserve to be found. The cases in Oklahoma a few years ago were heartbreaking! No reason families should have to wait decades to know what happened to their loved ones. Search the Green River again.

I agree that they're either in the water or down a ravine...although there seem to be conflicting reports regarding searches. On some posts the family says nothing has been found and on others I've seen mention of car parts (maybe not theirs?). Hope they find them soon...the family still hold out hope I think that they disappeared voluntarily but I too sense it's a car accident.

It can't hurt to hire a team to search bodies of water. TES could be brought in. Already a month into this. Wishful thinking won't get them found.

Agreed - I get the sense they may not have many knowledgeable people helping them out, most aren't experts or even slightly informed about where to start when someone goes missing.

3 bodies found near Jensen believed to be missing Vernal men
JENSEN, Uintah County — Police believe the bodies of three Vernal men missing since May were discovered in a river Wednesday morning.
Uintah County Sheriff Vance Norton said the bodies were found in a truck that was discovered in the Green River near Jensen in northeast Utah. A crane was being used to lift the pickup out of the water.

We all thought this might be the likely outcome but it's still shocking to have it confirmed.

Rest in Peace!

They were in water. My goodness, I felt that immediately. It makes me so so so sad. I hate these cases. :(

was this anywhere near where they found parts to a truck similar to theirs?

Oh, no. Rest in peace now. Prayers for families left behind.
