I think he found it too - or stole from someone's garage, porch, etc. I don't think he showed up at their house with a bat and then stayed up with them. Somewhat comforting thought, if true, that he picked up after he left her.

Ok, so this all seems to mean to me that he covered her face with a pillow, which ended up suffocating her. The blood connecting the two would be from the SA, so probably not a lot on his clothing. Then he covered her in the bedsheets and carried her out the door. He didn't close the door because a) his hands were full and b) the clicking of the closing door might awaken someone. She's hidden someplace really close to home, under a pile of stuff. (I think if she was in water, she'd have been found now..but I'm not sure on that.) MOO

Presser: LE has DNA-positive materials that link Alex to Lizzy's disappearance.

DNA evidence and she's hurt (from the presser) - sounds like something bad was possibly found on the clothes IMO. I can't imagine the outcome not being a recovery - why else bury the clothes?

If they have dna linking A-L, it can really only mean SA, imo. His dna is of course expected to be in the house.
So frustrating to LE to have no video of him with the child.

Some jails give an inmate only a paper gown to wear.
The smock is a rugged type material (nothing I’d find comfie)
