For some strange reason Josh reminds me of Scott Peterson and Mark Hackings............
everytime I see his photo.................

also can someone help me with this?
In the Lori Hacking case, she put on her special 'nightgown'
that a good Morman girl wears to bed.
I remember beng in awe, reading that.
So Susan at 12:30 am in bed, would have the same garment on.
Wouldn't Josh be able to say this?
Susan was true to he faith and would dress in her nightgown also?
I have a feeling she died in her regular clothes and not in her night gown.

Maybe he did not want to tell a lie involving his faith?

or maybe it is against his faith to even talk about that garment?

I do know control freaks (selfish) get mad over someone being ill.
It changes THEIR LIFE and THEIR routine.
They are the spouses (man/woman) that don't visit in hospitals,
go partying when wife delivers his child, works and can't take child to doctor.

That is something I was unaware of, re: the nightgowns.

I do see some parallels between Josh and Scott Peterson (MH, I knew only vaguely about what happened), especially re: the outlandish stories they made up to explain things, but my impression of Scott was that he didn't seem to have a care in the world after Laci went missing with his yet-to-be-born son, which might be contrasted with the "haunted" appearance that some have commented on in photos of Josh. He's attempting the same sort of thing, perhaps, but seems to me like maybe he's having somewhat of a different reaction internally, at least on some level.

IMO, Mark Hacking more resembles Josh. In fact within a few days Mark H had a mental breakdown, swallowed a ton of pills and ran around the hotel naked. He ended up in a psych ward and that is where his brothers got him to confess.

Detectives are appealing for the public's help.
They plan to conduct another interview early this week with husband Josh Powell, who told police he left his wife and took his boys, ages 2 and 4, on a camping trip around midnight Dec. 6 in subfreezing temperatures.

If we can figure this out, I know the LE sees it BIG TIME!!!

Let's hope Josh breaks under the love he is getting!
Imagine knowing you did something awful and all these people saying
loving things about you and the woman you murdered........
something tells me he will do a Mark Hasking OD and go crazy as a loon thing.

I've been reading about this case for the last few days and as many have said, I'm not getting a good feeling at all.. not even a little bit, sadly. :( Cases like this are unfortunately just becoming all too familar, I mean really..what is wrong with people?! and this guy..well he just is not the brightest crayon imo anyway, to say the least....doesn't sound like he had time to put much thought into his 'stories' so it doesn't appear at least to be something thought out ahead of time. Very disheartening to hear what he has to say, or I suppose I should say had to say since he's clammed up.

This comment among many really disturbed me~

Joshua Powell handed out fliers outside Energy Solutions Arena to people headed into the Utah Jazz game Saturday evening, but wouldn't offer any comment as to what he hoped passing out the copies with two photos of his beaming wife would achieve. "I don't know," Powell said as to why he came to distribute the flyers. "I'm not here to answer questions."

WHAT???!!

Also regarding him 'forgetting that it was Sunday night?! ..therefore taking his 2 very young sons.. on a spur of the min. pre dawn, sub-freezing temp camping trip to fix smores, something that he does often..:waitasec: okie dokie then..oh yeah...and besides just 'forgetting' what day/night it was, I guess his scenario to LE went like this...dang I forgot that is was Sunday nite and I was starting that new job tomorrow..the one that might have saved our azz financially. Don't you just HATE when that happens?!

I pray that Susan is located soon and at least some closure brought to her loved ones in short order. ..My heart goes out to her family and friends..

come on Josh, the best you could do is say 'is my bird dead?'
Josh, you KNOW where Susan is, please tell her dad!
He needs to 'lay her to rest', it's CHRISTMAS!

I had a definite "ah ha" moment early on with Scott Peterson which, while it wouldn't prove to a court that he was guilty, it convinced me totally. That was when he sold her car while she was still presumably missing. I haven't seen anything with this Josh character yet that gives me that strong of an "ah ha" moment, although a lot of things sure don't add up and I think he did her in. I know some of you get those gut feelings too that convince you of guilt. Any one thing here stand out?

I’m not sure how other cell phones are but because of the mountains it is
very easy to loose service.
Keep in mind that there is a lot of distance he could have covered in the time
frame he went “camping” and if he did have Cricket or something similar (cheap)
he may not of had service in the area he was in!

This is how I see it:

IF his phone was left at his home and was on, then it would ping as being at home. IF he left it at home and was off, one would wonder why would he do that.

IF he took the phone with him and was on, it may have pinged here and there, at least when he was near a city, depending on towers along his way.

Looking at the map, the area South and West is just mountains! Avalanche warnings are in effect all over.

So, IF he went to Tooele, he could've taken Eisenhower Hwy going West, then South through Highway 36. This is me theorizing, I'm not familiar with the area. But, if he took that way, there's only two or three cities along the way.

My "ah hah" moment happened when I learned about the damp carpet being dried by the fans. It would take an extra courteous murderer to do cleanup after the crime. That tid-bit, combined with Josh's hinky behavior, did it for me. "My sons loved her..." "My" -- not "Our", "loved", not "love"?

I pray that they find her soon.

Interesting that he is "in control" of everything yet he cannot remember what day it is, that he was supposed to be at work, that a storm was coming as he took his children camping, and that he didn't notice upon their return that anything was odd (like car there, but NO wife, window broken out, etc.)

Yup.

Someone said that he cooked for dinner.

I can visualize Susan telling him, "we have a guest for dinner on Sunday. Not Saturday, but SUNDAY."

:)

Josh remind me of the Chris Coleman case.....with on good thing his children are alive.

In the Chris Coleman case LE kept saying that Chris was not a POI. Chris is now in Jail.

The same with Anna Le case when Clark was not a POI.

I think that LE is waiting to see if they find Susan.
