PRESS RELEASE

Contact: Shelby Gifford
Puyallup, WA: Chuck and Judy Cox, the parents of missing Utah mother Susan Powell, will attend the annual Washington State Santa Cops delivery event tonight. Each year, a few days before Christmas, dozens of off-duty law enforcement officers from the Pierce County area meet at a secret warehouse, load their patrol cars with new clothes, new toys and groceries and deliver them to unsuspecting families in need.
Washington State Santa Cops was started by Puyallup Police Officers Michael Gifford and Gary Shilley in 1993 and has grown from serving 12 families the first year to over 150pear year on average, with some years reaching into the mid-200 range. Chuck and Judy Cox and all their girls have worked with Santa Cops over the years. This year, Chuck and Judy have decided that attending delivery night to load up groceries and brightly wrapped packages will help them focus on the positive things in the world.
Delivery will occur at 6 PM this evening at the old Chrysler building in the 400 block of River Road in downtown Puyallup. We invite members of the media every year to ride along with a police officer while they make a delivery and encourage the same response this year. The past 60 days have been tragic for the law enforcement community in Western Washington and we hope tonight will be a night of finding joy in the service of others.
Well, that's to be expected of Steven Powell. I'd be surprised if he said anything else.:innocent:
Very interesting article! Now I guess the words out about their relationship. the words used in the article regarding the couple are very descriptive. Joshy must know by now that the gig's up - everyone knows that their marriage was not fine, that he was a control freak, that she was planning on getting a divorce, and that there IS motive for him to kill her knowing his sick twisted personality and abuse.:yuck:
