I do hope the spirit of Michelle MacNeill is watching over this jury. These cases are so eerily similar. Uta was a strong-willed person who stood up for herself. She wasn't the sort to commit suicide.

Rebuttal witnesses on Wednesday include a DNA expert, a pathologist and Von Schwedler's sister, prosecutors said.

Wall trial: Expert says woman’s death a homicide ‘staged’ to look like suicide

Fierro said her opinion was based on a number of factors, including the state of von Schwedler's bedroom and her bathroom.

Fierro noted there was blood on a bed, blood smears on the wall, a lamp knocked over and pills scattered around the bedroom. In addition, clothes were folded over the edge of the tub, where von Schwedler's partially clothed body was found submerged in cold water.

That resounding 'thud' you all just heard was me falling off the fence. I never heard of this case 'till the trial started so I came into this not knowing anything about either side. I read everything I could about the testimony and about John Wall and his ex wife Uta. Closing arguments are tomorrow and then the jury gets this case.

In my opinion, the state has proven it's case. I believe he did kill the mother of his children.
