The videos that contain Amy were just by coincidence, he wasn't taping her specifically. Just cruise guests dancing. She just happened to be in some of the videos he shot.
I haven't read anything to suggest that Amy could not have gone over the railing. A sleep-deprived swimmer that accidentally hits the water from several stories up is going to be in trouble. The ship was between Islands when she disappeared off the balcony, so where would she wash up?
In the documentary, her father claimed that he opened his eyes (when he was in bed), saw her legs on the balcony, and went back to sleep for another 20-30 minutes. Then he got up and went out to the balcony to check on her and she wasn't there. I could understand some sort of foul play if she vanished from anywhere else on the ship, but vanishing from the balcony doesn't leave too many options.
Lera, for what it's worth, at the bottom of the FBI site for Amy there is a link to San Juan, Puerto Rico. So, you may be onto something. IDK
If you click on the link at the bottom where it says "field office" - San Juan it takes you to the San Juan division of the FBI.

someone posted a while back i think it was find amy or someone else that it was highly unlikely she was ever in the parking lot running around
one of the reasons was she had no shoes
the parking lot was right next to the ship or something so she could have went into the ship.
the sighting could have been someone trying to make it look like she was in the parking lot and the people who took her could have found someone to look like her
Thank you Mystery Maven. You are correct about Royal Caribbean. They were horrible to the Bradley family. They tried every legal dirty trick in the book. I personally believe that they feared a tremendous liability because Amy disappeared from their ship. It would have been very difficult for Amy to have fallen from the balcony as an accident. The railings are too high. She likely would not have landed directly in the water because there would have been impact at another point and there would have been forensic evidence. If she did fall directly into the water, she was a lifeguard and competition level swimmer. The ship was close to shore by 6:00AM.
Alister Douglas was seen by a number of people with Amy in the open disco area and the glass elevator. He was also identified by David Carmichael as being with Amy in Porto Marie, six months later. Royal Caribbean sent their attorneys to David's home in Canada to harrass him. Can you just imagine the liability that Royal Caribbean would incur if a court ever finds Alister Douglas guilty of kidnapping Amy Bradley? Alister Douglas was on Rhapsody of the Seas as an employee of Royal Caribbean.
If the pictures being circulated are indeed Amy then I would say she was indeed abducted for the sex industry. My biggest concern is if it is Amy in those photos, she was in her 20's. She is now 38 years old. How much longer would they keep her before they find another victim to replace her, if they haven't already?![]()
The sketches from the San Francisco sightings should be extremely accurate. The FBI sent their best sketch artist from Quantico, Virginia to San Francisco to do these sketches. The artist spent many hours with witnesses. These sketches should be almost like a photograph. The dark haired man has been described as possibly having a Colombian or South American appearance. The other man has red hair and a red beard.
yeah not going to stress over it...I probably just seen this sketch in the past. Knowing me. LOL

I added that line up there in red, my bad. So Sorry, Mr. E. I was just trying to give an example of what they might have done that would get total cooperation from Amy. If they threatened to harm her parents and brother unless she cooperated? My Opinion OnlyShe was 5'7 and 115 pounds. My 14-year-old daughter is that size.
I can think of several ways to get her off the ship. Drug her and drag her off, as if she's a person who has had one too many. Knock her out and do the same. Disguise her as a boy or crew member so nobody thinks twice about her leaving the ship. Fold her into a large trunk and drag that off.
Or, as Danaya says, get her to go willingly. Tell her a lie, pose as an authority figure, whatever. THREATEN HER FAMILY.
I really don't think getting her off that ship was the biggest issue they had to face. Cruise ships are huge, there are tons of people around, lots of rooms/areas the general public has no knowledge of, and it was the early morning hours.
Her falling overboard -- that I find much harder to believe.
Trying to keep sightings and timelines straight, in regard to the sketch of Amy with wild hair, the FBI site states the sketch was done after a sighting in Barbados but does not clarify if the 3 men also featured were with her in Barbados and your post states the sketches were completed after the San Fran sighting. Can you clarify which sketches are from Barbados and those that were done after the sighting in San Fran?
TIA
Thank you Mr. E.

I don't think the actual country the ship is flagged under is important as long as it's a country the ship's owners can operate under with a minimum of scrutiny. Libya, Liberia, all the same.Liberia, perhaps?
Early in this thread before FindAmy came onboard, the main discussion was about if Amy jumped/fell or not. People who had been on cruises stated that the rails on those balconies are high. A person wouldn't just be able to stumble and fall in over the balcony rail.Based on this possibilities, I have to once again agree with Otto. I think it's a very high probability that she went over that rail. She was seen on the balconey, had been somewhat seasick the whole trip, and then 20 minutes later she has vanished. She would have definately taken her shoes, at minimum if she were taking off.
Is it known what cabin the family was in? I'm hoping to find a diagram or interactive page of the ship. I've never been on a cruise before and hoped to see the outside of the ship and see where their balcony was. What I'm wondering is if the balcony hangs out over the water. Wouldn't there be other balconys under the balcony she was on, or at least the deck of the ship? The reason I want to see an interactive page is to be able to zoom in on the outside if their cabin location is known. Kind of like when you're buying stadium or arena tickets and you can see what view your seats have or where you want to set. I'm hoping to see if it is likely she went overboard with no forensic evidence left behind or if she could of clearly went overboard without hitting anything as she fell. I am leaning toward abduction, buy would like to be sure.
Who else was in those same places at those same times?
