IIRC, the Bradleys did some gambling. Nothing serious according to Iva. Slot machines.

Could it be possible one of them played more than slots and won a significant amount of money? This in no way is meant to be accusatory. Looking for motives. Money is always a huge motive when it comes to crime!

Maybe Amy saw one of them try to steal the money and they took her because she witnessed it?

What is so frustrating is 3 of the players are so traceable but yet nothing can be done.

Found the waiter. Nothing out of the ordinary on his FB page that I could see. I'm sure a lot has been deleted.

We have one waiter

We have Y

We have Baxter

We have no evidence.

I may have missed it, but do you have a source to back up the info in bold? Back when a screen grab of his FB was posted, it showed his profile pic as being the Tasmanian Devil -- which was weird enough -- but not a tattoo.

What would Amy wearing a men's watch have to do with her disappearance? (serious question, not snarky)

Still cannot find source, but am pretty certain that it was mentioned, but will retract.. unless someone happens to see it somewhere..
As for the watch, just wondered about it - thinking if it was expensive ,someone may be wearing it, even now.
Or someone found the taz. tattoo, short hair, athletic body and man's watch cute, making A a target.

OK I just checked the 8 EC's on FB and none had the TAZ profile pic. Anybody else try? My understanding is the waiter is from Portugal. Is that still the case?

I'm not on FB anymore. Are you saying you can't find him at all? TIA

I wonder what made Amy think they were "creepy" so soon? Did they say or do something to her before they asked her mom if they could take her to Carlos 'N Charlie's ? And when she says "them" who was she referring to? All the waiters? Crew members?

I would think that waitstaff being forward with customers on the ship might seem at least in bad taste, lack of boundaries, not very professional for sure.
They should know better, imo. But obviously they didn't .
Amy knew they should know better though, and I think that's why they gave her the creeps, she didn't trust anyone whose behavior was considered to be inappropriate. jmo

From the verified insider on Thread 1:

Amy was taken off of Rhapsody of the Seas in the Curacao cruise terminal.

(BBM)

B&SBM

That's just one of the many things that I find very frustrating about this case.

The lawsuit states that they believe Amy was taken off the ship in San Juan, Puerto Rico. This is a legal document. So it should mean something. And that's not the only place it is stated. Not Curacao, but Puerto Rico.

So why the contradiction? Why even state it's one or the other since they probably don't / can't possibly know for sure one way or the other where/when exactly she was taken from that ship. If they knew that, wouldn't they know a whole lot more than they do? Does that even make sense? :waitasec: Oh well, :sigh:

That caught my eye as well

How do we know Amy had no shoes on?

From the witnesses (the two girls and the woman in the bar who saw Y bring her a drink?).

(Because I thought Ivy said she brought at least 10 pairs so she did not know what if anything was missing).

She may have changed her shoes? They said she also "picked up" a pair of jeans whatever that means. In fact I am not sure that we know that she did not pick up two shirts two pairs of shoes two shirts etc. I mean probably not but how do we know? They don't seem to know exactly what she brought with her which is normal of course.

This is pretty important vis a vis the Venezuela sighting which is rejected by the family because the driver didn't mention no shoes.

Sorry just read back over today's posts and someone asked basically the same question, thanks.

Hoping that this woman is led to safety, somehow, some way.

Or at the very least, her family will know what happened to her.

I believe Brad and Amy won money at the slots. Not a huge amount. It was in the form of coins not sure if they cashed into paper.

I think the following is correct if not please correct:

One of the sightings of Amy is at the Otrobanda Hotel.

Amy's parents stayed at that hotel in Curacao when they left the boat. That struck me as a bit odd if correct since it is a moderately priced mildly run down hotel and if they were trying to get in touch with authorities which they were it would be best to be at an American hotel with lots of staff and good communication.

Odd coincidence that both Amy and "attentive waiter" had Tasmanian Devil tattoos.I imagine it had something to do with sports, or cartoon - did the waiter think it might score points with Amy, did the waiter acquire it before Amy did? Did anyone question why she wore a man's watch?
Tasmanian devil - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

"It is a common belief that devils will eat humans. While they are known to eat the bodies of murder victims or people who have committed suicide, there are prevalent myths that it eats living humans who wander into the bush.[134] Despite outdated beliefs and exaggerations regarding their disposition, many, although not all, devils will remain still when in the presence of a human; some will also shake nervously. It can bite and scratch out of fear when held by a human, but a firm grip will cause it to remain still"

Where was it stated the waiter had a Taz tattoo? I thought the verified insider just said that he had Taz as his facebook picture and she thought that was weird and creepy since Amy had a tattoo of Taz. Maybe I missed the tattoo info?

Creepy indeed. What's even creepier is it shows how many friend requests he has. How would someone who does not own the FB page see that? I have a FB page but only see my own friend requests. I don't see my friends, friend requests, KWIM? :waitasec:

hmmmm

I think it was a screen shot from whoever was looking him up on their facebook. So it would have been their facebook friend requests not his.

I can't find one with the TAZ profile. Do you think his profile was removed or changed?

The Taz profile was old, N/T, FA posted a screen grab, date unknown.

Also, to DOTR:

FA said that EC wore a Taz shirt.

I would be interested in seeing a link to a Taz tattoo. I don't recall anyone ever mentioning that? :waitasec:

It's also on video recording that Amy's brother states it is Yellow that says "sorry about your sister" and in every other source I can find. Not the waiter. Another important contradiction. This case drives me crazy :(

Does Amy have any known nicknames?

I wonder why she thought they were "creepy" so quickly?

Good question. I believe our insider stated that they seemed to be paying a lot of attention to Amy. That forwardness could have been off-putting, imo.

What day of the cruise was it when she said it?

I believe it would have been the night before she disappeared. The family spent the day touring Aruba in a rented Jeep. They returned to the ship and the parents didn't want to go with Amy and Brad to that evening's limbo contest b/c they were tired from the day. That's the night the waiters were going to C&C's -- same night Yellow danced with Amy. The ship was then going to continue on to Curacao later that night. It was only a short trip to get from one to the other.

Amy wanted to watch the ship dock in Curacao, her family said. In the past, we discussed with the insider the possibility that Yellow lured Amy into the private staff elevator (accessible from the disco the next morning when they were seen together) under the false pretense of showing her a great place to watch the ship dock. (Speculating.)

Edited: clarification

I understand that Findamy said the cab driver witness account was thought to be false because of no shoes/barefeet not being noticed

What about the lawsuit?

Exactly...
