RE PICTURES TAKEN ON SHIP:

As someone else noted, it cannot be coincidence that ALL the pics of Amy simply vanished. I think I suggested in an earlier post that there could be two motives for their removal:

1 - so that once Amy had been snatched, there would not be lots of recent pics available to the family to show around on Curacao

2 - were the pics taken to pass round to clients/customers who were being offered Amy, whether she was being offered as an 'ordinary' prostitute OR as a 'wife' of some type

snipped by me( is that the correct phrase?)lol

Id like to add the possiblity that someone was in a photo of Amy maybe even in the background that didnt want to arouse suspicion... like the same guy showing up in the background often

Or.. her picture was never really taken.

Ship pictures...

Am I correct in assuming that these are pics taken by a photographer as guests are having dinner or participating in various activities?

When Amys pics were taken, did they take any of her with her family?

Were family shots also stolen?

thats a great point! IMO yellow needs to be requestioned. Was he questioned before or after the witness saw Amy on the beach and then at the bar with him? I still really think that photo of the waiter and handler number 1 look to similar to one another.... I feel like there are several people who worked on that ship that were involved!!

Your thoughts make a lot of sense
I just wonder about another guest... commits a crime , no connection to the cruise line and moves on
Just a thought based on nothing

I think you are correct to assume these were taken by the professional cruise photographer

I noticed this in part II of the Style article:

Everybody else was pale and white after a winter spent under sweaters and heavy coats, but not Amy. After three weeks of indoor tanning, she was a fashionable brown, ready for the Caribbean sun.

On Friday, March 20, 1998, Amy and her mother were having dinner at her Aunt Mary's house. Mary Kristensen and Iva oohed and aahed over Amy's crisp tan lines, as Amy laughed, showing off.

It sounds like she would get pretty dark after being in the sun for an extended period of time.

But see that's what I'm actually wondering - what shade of brown?

Here's where I'm coming from: I have olive skin (Italian & Indian). 2 of my sons have my skin and my oldest has his father's skin (light - Irish). After about a week in the sun, 2 of my sons & I look like we came off a refugee boat into Miami, legit. My oldest son gets tan but it's a different color even at the end of summer, like a brown & not a deep bronze.

This is why I asked bc if in fact Amy is still in the Caribbean, even with a tan she could stand out. They could airbrush a spray tan all they want, it would be noticeable if her skin was truly light. So, if Amy's heritage is very light skin, then just going 3 shades darker from a tanning bed would make her look incredibly dark to them but still considerably light compared to myself. There are many shades to Caucasians.

The person who was posting on this thread was a verified insider on the case and said that the San Fran sighting was absolutely legit. Take that for what it is worth.

I disagree about tattoos not being proof. One tattoo...yeah, maybe someone else out there had the same tattoo in the same place. Amy had FOUR tattoos. I realize they might not all be visible, but even have two of the same tattoos in the same places on her body would be proof, in my opinion. The odds of two similar-looking people having the same tattoos in the same places are very slim.

It was not stated her tattoos were visible at the San Fran sighting.

We are wondering because no where else is it stated that the San Fran sighting happened and we are looking for a LE or family source since the San Fran sighting is so hard to believe. We are not doubting the verified insider, just looking for further proof and information on it.

so how did the scientologist know she was missing if the search over the water didn't start until after the cruise ship left to continue the cruise?

I expect given the seriousness of the situation, the news of a missing young woman from a cruise ship would spread rather quickly JMO

unfortunately no one allows us to talk about this angle or question the scientologist angle

Wow Carl that video is great! That really makes me believe even more that it's Amy.

However have any of you done a face morph of a celebrity that looks most like you? I have a video of me and Kathryn Heigl and our face hardly appears to change either in this type of video and we are clearly not the same person. So I wonder if this is the best method??

Yes, I understand where you are going and I have done that thought experiment a few times over the last few weeks (but only shared it with myself..lol).

So here are some of the ideas that came out of my thought process experiment (Amy's initial reluctance/excitement about going on the cruise):

1. Would a daily habit of any sort be interrupted while on the cruise

2. Hesitant to leave boyfriend for that period of time

3. Hesitancy to be on same ship with someone she perhaps knew from her father's work (Dad's work associates were going on the same cruise)

4. True fear of being on the ocean and out of sight of land

5. Did not want to leave her new apartment for that length of time

6. Fear of flying to reach the starting point of the cruise

If I remember any more, I will post them.

Trip coincided with menstrual cycle?

oops! I am just curious how the word got around when the captian didnt want to alarm the other passengers!

It seems to me that she was tanning and preparing for her trip for weeks before departure
That sounds like someone looking forward to going away

By around 2 p.m., they reached the rambling ship terminal at San Juan and found their parents. Amy bought postcards at one of the tourist shops and sent them to friends. "Hey Girl!" she wrote. "It's gorgeous here. We leave for Aruba Tomorrow. ... I'll be home Sat. at 10:00." She told another friend she was taking pictures and would show them to her on Easter. She bought 15 rolls of film and was hoping to take some pictures of Brad to enter in a modeling contest.

was her film ever developed do we know?

We hve been asked to leave Scientology out of this thread, yes there are many coincidences but they have been completely and totally ruled out.

so how did the scientologist know she was missing if the search over the water didn't start until after the cruise ship left to continue the cruise?

Looking at the video a little closer, I do see some inconsistencies. Amy's eyes appear to be a little more widely-set. With the right-eyes, nose, and mouth aligned, the left eye appears to drift outward when the overlay switches to Amy. There is a very slight difference in camera angles that may account in-part for that difference, but I don't think the difference in camera angles is substantial enough to explain the apparent difference in pupillary distance.

Also, the ears appear to be quite different.

Someone posted previously on this thread a 2 blown up pictures and the ears were really different and that was the 1st time I questioned if this was actually her or not. After that I have not been 100% convinced.
