Hit the dog because it was barking maybe? Or trying to bite him? I don't know. Guessing the homeowners weren't at home when that happened. Which means he scoped out the place, and broke in when homeowners were gone. Knew their schedule??

I know AJ is more important than the dog. If I was that homeowner though, there would be charges for hitting my dog along with the breaking and entering! But a DA usually won't go for the animal cruelty if there's a bigger charge. At least in my area they won't.

Unless they were there, who knows if they even knew he hit the dog until this interview...

:floorlaugh: Can't live with them, can't live without them,,supposedly. lol :slap:

OFFTOPIC but this made me laugh. I recently read a news article about a lady that had lived to be over 100. She said it was because she didn't have a man, and ate a raw egg everyday. :D

I hope LE also look at the opposite areas of where these items were found. Someone could be leaving a false trail.

  • #784
So what can we confirm about the articles of clothing found today in the search? Wait for confirmation that items were indeed found? And then await confirmation that those items are linked to AJ?

  • #785
Is it fair now to consider his comfort zone and timeline, from what we know, to try to lay out something not necessarily lead by suspect breadcrumbs?

  • #786
Please expound on what you mean.

As to who called the police....I would imagine the homeowner reported that someone ransacked their home! Might not have even been a tip to LE about the jacket. At this point, who knows!

Now, if we didn't have all the past history on the one person, then I 'might' could see a parent thinking LE wasn't doing enough to find their child, and taking things into their own hands. We've seen that in other cases, but not to this extreme. In the recent case of Hannah that was missing, her Dad lived in another state, truly didn't believe she would run away, hired a PI, was questioning LE, and being very front and center to demand something more to be done to find his daughter! Luckily in that case, it was a run away, and she was safe and came home.

If I truly suspected someone had my child, and LE wasn't investigating it or didn't appear to be, and I wasn't getting progress, I'd go over someone's head, and be at their office daily and on the phone daily until someone heard me. If that didn't work, and media coverage wasn't working, I might protest outside that person's home, or follow them, or investigate them myself. Thinking of Molly Miller, and Colt Haynes who STILL haven't been found. Yes, I would make myself known to everyone. And I might even be brave enough to go knock on their door and ask questions myself. BUT, I don't have a criminal history, or violent history.

This entire case just breaks my heart. Too much drama for kids to be around. Too much past to overlook and 'give a second chance' when it looks like they've had chance after chance after chance and haven't changed.

I would NOT want a person with this history around my kids, and would not be having kids with him. But it's possible that no one knew his history until now. What a shock to everyone if that's true.

Oh please AJ, I hope you just got fed up with the entire thing, and went into a safe haven somewhere!!! It would be the bestest outcome!!!

Though my heart tells me otherwise, I want to cling to that tiny bit of hope.

Wonder if Joe Fisher thought to ask him how long he's been staying in that hotel room (as in was that where he came from and dropped the keys off at the house from also?)

IN every statement he has ever made, he is explaining away things. The comment about him only putting the ignition key in the mailbox.

So sort of OT but OnT I am watching the new series on Netflix Bloodline not to blow the whole show but one person of the family has a missing persons phone and called another person in the family to make it look like it was coming from them. But they actually faking it covering up a murder.

So in that theory...the whole thing about AJ texting that didn't appear to come from her.

Bottom line tonight-Wesley Hadsell is locked up for multiple reasons. A close person to a missing person. Charges of alleged crimes committed after her disappearance. She is still missing. Need I go on?

Unless more were found today, I'd guess they may already know who they belong to.

The ones that have been mentioned as being behind the search were found 5 pm-ish on the 19th - so over 48 hours ago.

And her family/friends that saw them have reportedly said they believe them to be AJ's.

I'd think LE would know (or be darn close to knowing definitively) by now and just haven't confirmed it either way.

Family and friends of Hadsell tell 10 On Your Side they started searching the area around 5 p.m. March 19 after they got a tip about clothing on the side of the road. They say they found at least four items they believe belong to Hadsell, and notified police.

I am SOOO SORRY if this has been talked about at length, I am REALLY trying to get caught up- with that said…..
HE PUNCHED A DOG IN THE FACE?????:mad::mad: idk the circumstances for this move, but there are VERY few instances I can think of that would excuse this for me.

This is one of the oddest comments I've heard from someone. Really punching a dog in the face. Isn't this like a line from a movie or a TV show or something. Maybe not a dog but along those lines.

:offtopic:
I do know that if you are attacked by a shark, you should punch him in the nose. I saw it on an episode of "Coach." (Though I don't have a link.)

Okay so they went to the area Thurday on a tip but didn't start SEARCHING until this morning. hmmmmm

Wait I'm confused...13newsnow reporter (most recent video) said that LE didn't START searching until this morning...

http://www.13newsnow.com/story/news/2015/03/21/aj-hadsell-search/25137937/

That would sure contradict this unless they mean they started AGAIN this morning - b/c it also says LE was there until 11 pm last night (or 7:30 pm according to a different neighbor)

A person working in the area who did not want their workplace identified tells 10 On Your Side detectives with the Norfolk Police Department were back in the area Friday morning and requested surveillance video from the business.

The search continued Friday night around 7:30 p.m, according to a neighbor who wished to remain anonymous. Detectives with the Norfolk Police Department and a forensics team combed the area in the dark wearing knee-high rain boots.

Forensics teams collected evidence in brown paper bags and stopped at times to take photographs. Detectives on scene confirmed undercover officials were involved in the search.

More than a dozen law enforcement officers were on scene until 11 p.m.
, says one neighbor.

Several agencies are involved in the search including Norfolk Police, Virginia State Police. and Tidewater Search and Rescue. The Chesapeake Police Department also confirms they were called on March 19 at 6:20 p.m. to assist Norfolk officers on the scene.

Tomorrow is my birthday. Would you all please give me the gift of sending up prayers, or positive energy, or whatever it is that you believe in for AJ's siblings tomorrow. Best birthday ever would be to know that we are all thinking of the little ones. I just cant imagine how they might be feeling.

Good to know :) I think I was thinking of an episode of the inbetweeners UK where Neil punched a fish. I'd link it but its a bit rude.

Happy Birthday Razzledazzle-and I am going to contact my special nuns to pray for you, AJ, and her siblings. Stay positive, I will emphasize the siblings to my nuns. They are in Alabama.
