And then I found a very sharp drawing..where there is something with the ears wich looks like scarving from old ear pearcing, but it could also be from the bag she had around her face????

Iirc. this lady was wearing a walkman like device to listen to a comedy show, maybe the wire formed an imprint on her ear, imo.
From the DOE network
She had a portable tape player, the headphones over her ears and had listened to a recording of comedians Mel Brooks and Carl Reiner doing their "2000 year old man" routine

Yes, that could be it. Good point. Then still no answer if she could have had pearced ears (there was the discussion about) but wearing clips.

Does anybody read somewhere that this was her natural hair colour/curls...I can't recall that this is somewhere stated. For the hair colour...considering the colour of her eyebrows that's probaly her real colour...or would you dyle that to if you want to be discuised? Not to be disrepectful but does the curtain fits the carpet?

Considering her age and the lack of gray hair, I'm betting it was dyed. Unless it's done professionally, eyebrow-dyeing can be dangerous (too close to the eyes). It's more common to use an eyebrow pencil to improve the colour. And her brows were plucked very thin, so there wasn't much to dye. I can't tell if that's a perm from the morgue photo, but my guess is that it is. The curls look tight, like an old lady perm. She's from the same generation as my grandma and hers sisters. All but one of them had that same perm.

It would be helpful to know if the color of her pubic hair matched her hair and eye brows. Some cases, like Arroyo Grand Jane Doe say.

Agree her hair looks permed, was popular back then. As for her eyebrows, they could be natural (if her pubic hair is the same) or they could be dyed. It's not hard to dye eyebrows, especially if she went to a salon, they have brushes for it.

Eyebrow tinting is rather simple unsure how widely it was available in 96 in recent years you can have them tinted, eyebrow pencil/stencil (most common) or use a tint brush/wand Benefit makes a great one (OT).

As Roselvr mentioned it depends on if the carpet matches the drapes :blushing:

I'm glad you say it straight (pubic hair) where I tried to mask it (carpet fits the curtain thing, or should I say carpet fit the drapes) hahahaha

I'm 43 and have been dying my hair since I was 15, I have never been asked if I wanted my eyebrows done. In fact, I never even knew it was a thing until a few months ago!

I don't know any hair salons local to me that dye eyebrows, but it's something offered by all the beauty salons. I've been doing my own brows for years but it can be done at a salon. My mother used to get hers done at a local salon after they turned grey, that would have been mid 1990s although it was in England.

I looked at her PM picture again and actualy her eyebrows don't look that red at all. Could we ask LE if they know/think that her hair was dyed...or is that an absolute "no donner"

http://imgur.com/a/U07I8 POST MORTEM PHOTO, plus extra photos of the belongings and abdomen scar.

Also, from the detective working the case at the time:

"herry Dedrick in San Francisco was not identified or excluded. The PD no longer has a file on the case and there aren't any fingerprints or dental records for her as far as we can tell.
The DNR pendant outcome is equally unsatisfying. Apparently, many states require a form and a doctor's authorization, but many other jurisdictions don't have such laws. Virginia has had a program since the early 1990's, but the Dept. of Health does not keep any records of who gets them. The pendants that are sold now have the doctor's name and address/telephone number. This one did not have anything else engraved on it. A Hospital DNR is a plastic bracelet as were Virginia's early products. We don't think this one came from Virginia or their vendors, one of whom you found on the Internet. The other was very helpful, but did not recognize it. As to its origin, it is probably an old one she obtained in any number of unknown ways. I have enclosed a photograph of it for you, since it no longer exists. Our ME took a photo and I learned she was cremated with it on her. I suspect she was hooked into the Hemlock Society because she appeared to be using the book I mentioned earlier. The Hemlock Society probably is able to provide such things to people or provide vendor's names.
I don't believe this person is local with all the publicity the case has gotten over the years. She may have been associated with the area at one time and knew about the cemetery."

Bumping for easy reference.

Anyone have thoughts on Anna Frady last seen January 1996? Height is only a couple inches off, and the 20 pound difference could have easily been put on in the time period.

Honestly, I believe she had been submitted before. I found Frady's missing page and saw that in December of last year someone linked Annandale Jane Doe on a post. Not sure if that person submitted it or not. But whatever happens, I'm glad she may be about to get her name back!!!
