Regarding the glasses, Deidre Barlow was a famous soap character in the UK in the 80s. Her glasses were famous and of their time, try a google of "deirdre barlow glasses"

I pray that this lady is IDed, I have always had a strong feeling that she was a nurse, dunno why...?

I Googled and saw that I used to wear glasses very similar. :panic:

And I wore them into the 90s because I ended up a single mom with two little kids and no vision insurance for awhile. Maybe a lack of funds for this doe is a clue for this case?

Maybe our UID just had the lenses changed out when she needed new ones, and kept the frames to save money? I've known folks to do that, it helps on the cost. That might explain why she was still wearing 80s-style glasses.

SNL's "Coffee Talk" (Linda Richman) wore them too. ; )

Or maybe she really liked the style? My MIL wore the same style of sun glasses for a very, very long time. At least 33 years or so. They were very similar to these.

I just noticed that Babyslims suggested this might be Judith back in 2007 in a separate thread just for Judith! I hope this hasn't languished for five years if this is, indeed, Judith. I sure think it is. Hope we find out soon. Her daughter desearves the closure. What an incredible woman she must be to have raised her brothers.

I grew up in the area where this woman was found and remember seeing a mention of it in the paper when I was home visiting my mother, probably around Christmas in the year she was found. I've been following this thread for a little while now, appreciating all the effort some of you have put into identifying her. I finally registered with Websleuths so I could keep up with the story more easily. I hope it won't be long before she is identified.

Okay well then the only possibility from the aforementioned list would be Jewish. But I honestly think she said "no autopsy" for a reason other than religion. Maybe terminal illness. Or maybe she just didn't want to be identified, who knows.

Note that she had a little Christmas tree near her when she died. Very sad, and may be a broad hint as to her religion.

I dream about this woman on an almost nightly basis for some reason. I've gotta make it out to the memorial gardens sometime this week and take pix.

If she was Jewish (and observant), she probably wouldn't have asked to be cremated. Cremation is absolutely contrary to Jewish custom.

When do you suppose we will hear if this is confirmed to be Judith or not? I check in here everyday hoping to see an update. It would be so wonderful to give our "Christmas Tree Lady" her name back, and give her proper rest.

Not sure. I don't really know how to ask the head of the FFx co cold case lieutenant --- he said "it will take some time" but nothing more

So this is weird. Babyland mausoleum where she was supposedly found is pretty close to a large highway (236).

This is the view from the back of the mausoleum. That road there is a road that leads in a circle around PVMP.

This is on the left side (if you're facing the front of the mausoleum). I believe this is the side she was found on as it's the side that faces the cemetery in it's entirety. The graves pictured were not there when she died (they're from 2005+).

I'm not 110% positive but if I had to guess this is the spot she was found dead. It is on the left side of the mausoleum, facing the cemetery in it's entirety.

This is a view of the cemetery from the left wall where I assume she was found.

This is the right side of the mausoleum that faces out toward 236.

This is a view from the back of the mausoleum of the right side.

Newer graves (from 2005+) that weren't there when she died.

This is standing in front of the mausoleum, a view off to the left side of it where I assume she was found. You can see the "babyland" sign.

The front of the mausoleum.

A view from the back of the mausoleum so you can all see how close it is to a major road -- 236.

These graves WERE here when she killed herself. They're directly in front of the spot I believe she killed herself at.

A view toward the front of the mausoleum from the left side where she was found. Also, the entry of PVMP.

Another view toward the front from the left.

The view to her right.

A site marker that I have no idea how long has been there for... but over a year at least as the area hasn't been disturbed in years. Possible clue?

Last pic: a view toward the entrance from the left side.

This is another view of the left side of the mausoleum -- this view would have been to her left. The tombs closest to the wall were placed in the mid 2000s, way after her death.

Babyland sign, part of her last view. This looks out over the cemetery from the left side of the mausoleum.

A view around the back of the mausoleum from the left side. The left and right sides parallel 236. Look how close to the highway the mausoleum is.... I'm gonna go out on a limb here and negate the theory that she knew the area well. PVMP isn't hard to find. If she knew the area well or didn't want to be found she would have moved more toward the back of the property. I'm not sure how well lit this place is at night.

So I'm trying to figure out where against the wall she was sitting. It looks like there is a wall in the upper left corner of the picture. I think she was sitting in between the bush and the tree -- which is the third to last or 2nd to last pic I posted.

@astridxx - THANK YOU so much for posting the pictures! It gave me goose bumps! It also made me think...is there a possibility she could have had a relative in that cemetary?
