Thanks darlin gal!!!! Good shots!

He does look happy, doesn't he. And the woman does also. Do you think that is his mother?

Cropped and rotated. Easier to use in "flyer" type of things. Praying he comes home soon so we can see that gorgeous smile.

I think it is his mom. Here she is here. Of course her hair is back and she looks like she has been through hell. :(

I just heard from a person I've known for several years and consider to be a very reliable source.

Neighbors of this source were the foster parents to this child. My source says that Aveion was in their care for quite some time and these neighbors were in hopes of adopting him. Apparently it was seen fit that Aveion be given back to his family.

I have asked my source a few more questions regarding why Aveion was placed in foster care. As soon as I hear back from my friend I will pass along the info. Is there any questions any of you can think of that you would like me to ask this person. Let me be clear - my friend knows ONLY the foster family, not Aveion's family.

I'm not sure if this has been discussed or not,but a commenter on the article said about the same thing or in line with this, not about the foster parents, but he had been taken away before. Also, has anyone checked court records on the stepfather to verify what's being said on articles? And just for our information, what charges some of his family members are in prison for.Did he see the vehicle before they came in?If he gave a description of vehicle they left in,he was knocked out,so had to be before or someone else saw it.Besides money, there was nothing else taken,or has it not been put out there yet?

snipped...
The duplex was also ransacked, she said. The sofa was flipped, a pile of clothing was on the kitchen table and the house was littered with their belongings. Not taken was a large flat-screen TV in the living room, a Christmas gift to the family.

I am so waiting for the record. Where is that little Angel?
Thanks for the NEW pic of him at corrected age.
Stepdad is a large man, it appears. I would really have a hard time knocking him out cold. I have equipment, but it looks like a job, the way he described it anyway. One guy in a doorway and "whack!"
Now, if all 3 came in, knocked him to the ground, and then beat him unconscious? I could get wit dat. Just don't get it.
Mom, well, I am cryin for Mom, simply because she has "that look." You know, the "looking far away into nothingness" look. I believe her, IMO.

I've only been able to find a couple of driving without a licenses, not having child restraint and seatbelt, which looked like they were at same time as the no licenses charges. But,that is just for General court active and inactive.
I'm not saying he is involved, just that I think there's alot more to the story. If someone wants to risk going to jail for years for abduction, seems to me they'd do a home invasion in a home where they can also steal jewels, money, etc. But,in the day, while people are awake,I don't know.

Not to be rude, but the DWL, maybe his woman drove him the majority, or friends. Then he could conduct business but be under one of the major LE radars, which IMO is vehicle infractions. hmmm.
IMO someone(s) is hiding info due to the seriousness of the perps.
I pray for the baby boy.
Conclusion: With the time window and

Nevertheless, I want to see the baby back !

A number of posters have said that $10,000 is a lot of money to have if one lives in public housing. I agree ... however ... if it was my child that was missing, I would contact everyone I know, or ever knew, to raise the money! Just because step-papa says the money is available, doesn't mean he and Mom would provide every penny themselves. Just a thought.

OK, he could have been beat when he was knocked out. But if I was at the back door whackin him I woulda had to strike a mighty blow for that to be all he remembered. He does not remember falling down and being beat by multiple perps before lapsing into unconsciousness. SO the first blow had to knock him out then he was beaten. He says he remembers coming to and the wife standing over him, so he was out on the floor.Does the wife say she first saw him on the floor?
IMO, why is he wearing that hat and looking down in the vid? I would be proud to show war wounds protecting the children. JMO.

I have to agree on this as a possibility. If one is following the sad news, these crimes are happening in Mexico, and LE put out a warning as they started to occur in AZ and CA. Poor people and others have recieved ransom demands for child kidnappings in Mexico, even without the ability to pay. It happened in Phoenix, it happened here in San Bernardino. With this economic crisis, the crimes are escalating. IMO this is still a valid theory. Included in this post, is a warning. People are getting desperate about money right about now. Look for more odd ransom demands. Lock your doors! JMO.

the big thing that stands out to me on this case is the 4 year old.
the perps must not be worried the 4 yr old will identify them. which makes me think these 3 were hired by someone that knew the family & knew they would be able to come up with the money in spite of not seemingly of a wealthy nature.

i would love to see the ransom note on this. forgive me if it's already been posted.

IIRC the Uncle said his name was on the ransom note, and that it was in 2 different handwritings. Just odd, IMO. Why 2 diff? What has the Uncle to do with it? blessings to Mom.

  • #178
Winterrose, when you found the traffic violations, did they indicate the stepfather's date of birth?

TIA,
Soulscape

I think the uncle expressed some of those same questions.
But, the speculation is that the uncle owes money from some
kind of illicit deal and the 3 men took it out on his family,
including taking a 2 yr old boy,
binding and gagging a 4 yr old, upstairs,
leaving 2 other babies on the couch, unharmed,
knocking the stepdad unconscious at the back door and
he comes to on the living room floor.

No, it does not make any sense.
I think that is why many of us look at the stepfather and think,
hmmm,
where is little Aveion?

The DWL charge in VA just means someone did not have it on their person they got the ticket ,all a person has to do is show it to the court clerk and they mark it as complied.
