Poor Codi. The press conference doesn’t sound good. JMO

"There is a person of interest. The person of interest are Codi's parents".

Can we post info about them?

“There is a person of interest. We are most interested in Codi’s parents.”

“Codi’s parents do not live together.”

I believe if someone is named a POI we can discuss them. No?

They believe the caregivers are key to finding out what happened to Codi - "this case is not an Amber alert case"

Focusing on WHEN ANYONE IN THE PUBLIC SAW CODI LAST.
For fricks sake here we go again. That poor little man. Caregivers my butt . I hope they find Codi even if it’s to just lay him to rest. Jmoo

Missing and Endangered Child: Codi Bigsby of Hampton, Virginia | 13newsnow.com (2nd article)
Hampton Police Chief Mark Talbot said Tuesday that investigators don't think missing 4-year-old Codi Bigsby wandered off on his own, and also don't think he was abducted.

Talbot said the evidence they've found in their search doesn't match stories they were told about his disappearance. Talbot said they're interested in further investigating Codi's parents, who are still answering questions and cooperating.
SNIPPED
Talbot said they were especially interested in hearing about any sightings of Codi Bigsby between noon on Sunday, Jan. 30, and when he was reported missing on Monday morning.
There's the time frame issue

It snowed heavily in Hampton on Saturday, extremely cold Sat, Sun and Mon, unusual for this area.

Hampton has a lot of traffic cams, access to public at 411, and many without public access. Traffic was greatly reduced in the area Sat and Sun, national guard called in to help with snow removal, and shelters.

I didn't believe from the beginning he disappeared. IF and that's a big if, he wandered outside in the am hours, he would have been freezing, blistering cold and windy. He would not survive long.

I'm not very good at mapping. Does anyone know how close any body of water is to Codi's home?

I lived over in that area - Buckroe Beach - for a couple of years right on the beach. It's very open, what I mean by that is there are not really any woods -its more of a flat beachy area. Very close to the bay. You can see the Chesapeake Bay Bridge from the beach.

If he walked off, someone would have surely seen him.

I live in VA Beach area now which is across the water, but the area he disappeared in has a mixture of communities, some bad, some good.

Glad they are organizing early. Most of the land is flat, and should be an easy area to grid search.

Moo...From my experience with missing children, and "major/critical" crimes in Virginia, action/response is swift. Virginia partners with the FBI quickly, especially in child cases, an abduction case in my local area, the FBI had cell records in less than 8 hours. Hampton is 2 hours from Quantico. I'm betting the FBI turned the apartment inside out, sent what they found to Quantico and knew quickly CB didn't wander off.
