VA - Dashcam shows woman shot 6 times aim pistol at Colonial Heights officer

The pursuit began around 11:30 a.m., after Officer Greg Tennis clocked a 2014 Dodge Avenger going 60 mph in a 35 mph zone, down Ellerslie Avenue.

(On Monday, the victim was found not guilty by reason of insanity at the time of the incident.) :crazy:

00:55.......Driver runs red light
01:45.......LEO orders driver to show hands, over next min, repeats ~ 9x
02:45.......driver opens car door, steps out, & gun in hand w arm stretched, facing LEO
...............LEO fires ~6 times.

Article says she was hit 2x in abdomen.

Nightmares for LEOs? I'm glad he was not injured, at least not physically.

Looked like an attempt at suicide by cop. She got out and left herself wide open KNOWING he was behind a car door.

Cr*ppy dash cam video...looked like it was 2 frames per second (unless it was just the website), if that was the best it can do it wouldn't be much good to record fast moving situations.
