Details of Disappearance​

Benjamin was last seen in Culpeper, Virginia at 2:00 a.m. on September 2, 2022, when the police did a welfare check on her. She was driving a white 2021 Toyota Corolla with the Virginia license plate number UYH6004, and told police she was on a road trip and would return home in two weeks. She has never been heard from again.

On September 20, Benjamin's car was found abandoned in the parking lot of an AutoZone store in Sterling, Virginia and was towed to her mother's house. There was no sign of her at the scene. Few details are available in her case.

When LE did the welfare check on her at 2AM, was that in response to the missing report and LE saw the car and checked on her, or did they check on her for another reason (something looked suspicious, etc.)?

Sterling VA is only an hour+ from Culpepper, and I'm surprised there was no sighting of the car until September 20:

I might be way off, but I can't imagine the AutoZone would let a car be abandoned in their parking lot for very many days before reporting it. It says they towed her car from there to her mother's house, but doesn't say if it had a problem and she/someone else was at the AutoZone to purchase parts (bad battery, etc.). I wish they had video of who was in the store and parking lot that day...
