Yep WideOpen, a Crockpot is a must.. Spray bathroom cleaner in toilet, pour bleach in the sinks, generously spray furniture polish in the air, spray fabreze all over the carpet, plug in the vacuum cleaner and leave it in the middle of the floor. Don't forget shove everything under the bed, in the closet, in the laundry basket, etc. All can be done within seconds. You can retrieve it all later, or not..

Okay since labor laws are all talked out and we're stuck for topics, how 'bout one of you old timers post a link on how to multi quote? :dunno:

it took me a little while to figure out how -- far right icon under the message -- "+ -- hit that. Then you have to go hit "reply with quote" also, or you will just sit there and nothing will happen. At least that is what seems to be working for me.

I did a double-take thinking that these were tips for being a perp.

Sorry skigirl... Should have been more clear that these are tips for those neglecting their normal household chores while on websleuths in their PJ's all day..
Forgot to add; slap water on your face and arms when you hear your better half pull up to indicate sweating.

What's the urgency? They bring him to justice in one week or one month, I am happy either way. I'd rather they take their time and chisel away at the circumstantial evidence rather than rush and have a defense attorney chisel away at sloppy forensics.

I believe the urgency, IMO is that there is still a chance that she is alive. There is no proof that this is a murder case, just a missing persons that we know of... that's fairly urgent in my opinion.

The urgency, to me, is that HG may still be alive. I would think that they would want to find her DNA immediately so that they could bring JM in on the chance that she is still alive. On the other hand, if she is no longer alive, it is equally urgent. Let's say her blood is in JM's drain. This would increase the likelihood that he is a murderer and I would think that they would want to bring him in before he killed someone else.

Hey!!! What's wrong with a light blue Nissan Sentra?! I drive a light blue Sentra!

No, I don't... but I did have a bright red one about 20 years ago.

Lol.

I'm sure they are great cars but I want something flashier for my run from the law

Question on the "fresh" mud on his tires... LE took his car almost a week after Hannah disappeared. Is week old dirt. "fresh"? If he had driven in mud on the 13TH, wouldn't it have dried up and fallen off after a week?

Maybe if there is still "fresh" mud its because he went back to the dump site. Or perhaps moved her body from one place to a new, muddy location. IMO. Just speculation.

Nevermind, answered. :)

Totally agree. My point is that a hit is a hit, and while the lab would then continue the analysis of the other items, it would seem to me that if it were a match to HG from a compelling location in his car or apartment, it really would change the picture significantly. In fact, I would guess that the lab prioritized the samples depending on their potential level of importance to the case. OTOH, if there is no hit thus far, they have to keep going and going and going before an announcement could be made that there were no matches at all.

Sort of like experiments -- it takes more work to come to get to, "no useful evidence," than it takes if there is lots of useful stuff that is clear right away.

Minutes from last 12 hours:
1) Websleuthers are divided about JM's guilt and treatment by LE
2) JM has a dog named Popcorn
3) Hannah and Heather are frequently confused
4) Lab results are supposed to be in today but no news on them yet

I think that pretty much covers it.

At least no morality soapboxing today.....always a plus. JMO

Who says she is his ex GF? I thought they were close to marrage.

Grandma said they broke up.
I am desperate to know if he told police what he told her, about Hannah not being in his car. That is the biggest factor...if he told LE that, it will make it much easier to deal with any forensics found. If not...yikes. It could get ugly, if he says yes, she came home with me, willingly, etc.

At the risk of pissing everyone off I missed why so many are upset about the gloves. I posted an excerpt where a search team had found a purple glove. Next time I checked in and couldn't keep up people were mad about talking about gloves, or so it seemed. It was my thought that if JM was involved or even had a history of this stuff he may use gloves for obvious reasons. We know he had easy access to them. I have taken home many gloves in my pockets from work. I have been avoiding asking this because it seems like some people want to censor discussion to only what they think is relavant. I think that's counterproductive. Yes, some stuff we discuss makes me roll my eyes too but nontheless I respect it. You never know what topic, even irrelevant could trigger someone else to something significant right?

Just because police expect the forensic results back today does not mean they will be released to the public today or at any point before a trial, assuming a crime has been committed, a person is charged, and a trial takes place. By way of example, very little forensic evidence was revealed to the public before the trial in the Alexis Murphy case. If there is a DNA match to othrr unsolved crimes, then I can see info being released after charges are brought in those cases. Otherwise with Hannah missing a week, I think the focus will remain on finding her and only information will be released if it assists with that goal.

edit:it seems I don't know my left from my right

Not sure I understand your response. Can you elaborate?

when you are on probation or parole , law enforcement can easily get warrants to search you or your belongings for evidence that you broke your probation or parole. you pretty much wave your rights when you agree to parole or probation

Forensics workers at the state lab in Richmond worked through the weekend to process items authorities seized from the home and car of the man they say was the last person to see Hannah Graham, said Charlottesville police Capt. Gary Pleasants.

“We’re expecting those results possibly today or maybe tomorrow,” Pleasants said.

Would it be muddy there? I thought a local stated there hadn't been any rain lately?

I was lost once when I was her age. Drunk, little high on pot, at a party. All I could think about was to keep moving to find my way back. My behavior was such that I have clear memories of people giving me strange looks, but it never once occurred to me to ask for help. I was panicked and all I could think of was "move, move, move, find your way back, find your way back". I probably would have been described as walking with a purpose and I did have one; find my way back!

that was the pot not the alcohol

Something that has been reported both ways that I'd like clarification on if anyone knows for fact: I have heard both that his car has been returned to him and also that it has not. Where is the orange clunker?

This is where the confusion comes from I think. Don't they give the car back when they are done? And Longo said he was done with the car in the PC.

As far as I can ascertain, LE still have the "orange clunker" in custody. (See Sunday's presser). Last reported sighting of JLM - by LE - was him driving off in a 199? Light blue Nissan Sentra registered to his sister. (See Wanted poster).
