The important thing here is to see if there is evidence of him being in the sex trafficking game, where he may have been from Saturday til Friday's search and who he connected with on those days after HG went missing. The Brooklyn connection is scary. The other 17 year old girl who "ran away" and returned has family in Brooklyn, too. These pimps/traffickers intimidate other young women and use them to instill a level of comfort in the naive' suburban girls that they plan to traffic.

I've got some perspective to share for those of you who have questions/concerns about drug use and the Greek scene. In the late 1990s, I was in one of the "best" sororities at a top public university, similar in many ways to UVA. I personally only drank and used marijuana, but there were many, many girls in my sorority and our "brother" frats that did coke, speedballs, ecstasy, etc. My only point in sharing this is that is an extremely prevalent, common thing for many in the Greek community, especially those who have the money. These aren't hardcore addicts that end up in rehab, for the most part. These are college kids who are casual users, most pick it up and put it down with ease.

If I wanted to use hard drugs, I had access to them. Period. And I am not the least bit "street" and certainly wasn't savvy at age 19. I'm not saying that's what this young lady did that night, she could have just been intoxicated (which I don't blame her, I had a BLAST at that age). But the possibility that she combined it with another drug (like a stimulant) cannot be ignored. Frankly, her frenetic running suggests she *may* have had a stimulant in her system.

This could have been me or any of my friends on any given party night. I just got lucky.

again, all of the things that i have listed are IMO. i am sorry if i have given information that is not necessary here. i am just trying to find and help hannah get home. for the sake of her family, her friends, i hope that something, anything, any information is used by LE to help find and bring her home.

i could be completely wrong in my sleuthing efforts and i feel like i could possibly be. i will withold any more of my sleuthing efforts until more information is available.

If he was planning to abduct and/or kill Hannah, why take her to a bar, where witnesses can later say, they saw the two together?

It's better left to the police. No one knows with 100% certainty that he's guilty. If he moves out of state because of harassment, that could potentially have a negative effect on the investigation. Let's leave it to the professionals.

Maybe, as he came up and introduced himself and started talking to her, he said "Oh, yeah, I'm on my way to this great bar up here, you should check out out with me." She agrees, but they don't serve her because of her age or her obvious intoxication. She gets frustrated and says let's just leave. He finishes his drink and they go.
Or maybe she knew WG was following her, and told Dreds. He suggested they duck in to Tempo for a minute to lose him.

They are searching everywhere. I drove by searchers 8.5 miles from the downtown mall and probably 11 miles from HH.

At the risk of reigniting the discussion of liquor laws in VA: It was getting pretty close to last call, wasn't it? So if they got there at 1:15 or so, there may not have been a whole lot longer to hang out, even if they had wanted to spend more time? Or, maybe a bartender noticed that she was underaged after they were in the door and booted her? A bartender can get in a big trouble for serving a minor and most of the ones I've known in college towns just are not willing to take any sort of risk if they think someone is underaged... in fact, they get sort of angry if they think someone is putting them at risk or if they suspect the person is working with LE to bust them. I think we'll eventually know more about what happened at the bar, since there were witnesses. Maybe the witness is an employee who showed them the door at 1:30.
