there hasn't been any new updates in her case sadly she's still missing. I have even contacted Adventures with purpose , chaos divers etc.. but they all said sadly her vehicle was still there and they'd probably be of no help in her case as they hunt people who are missing with vehicles. Maybe one day we
are hoping we can get her case back on tv and maybe get some leads. we have shared it on social media such as fb , myspace etc.. I even made a post on Richmond VA Topix when it was active before Topix shut down but so far nothing new

at this time there's sadly been no new updates or anything , we are keeping her story out to the world as much as possible in hopes of finding her.

I did see a site online mentioning me and other family members who has said things here in regards to her case , with the Dna I meant they have dna on file so they can test against jane doe's in hope of finding her etc.. i'm not sure if it's hazel's or family members just that they have dna to use ,
Please in the future before posting on another site something I or my family has said please message me here so you can be sure on things as we don't wish for anything we said to be misintrepetted or to cause confusion or anything in her case.

My first thought when reading this case was that Hazel's body was transported in the suitcase, with the added bonus of creating that illusion that she had ran away. I would be interested to know how they established that a suitcase was missing?

Details of Disappearance​

Klug resided in the 6800 block of Horsepen Road in Richmond, Virginia and worked as a title researcher for a law firm. She had a telephone conversation with a co-worker whom she was dating during the evening hours of May 20, 1986.

They spoke for over an hour and the call ended at approximately 11:30 p.m. He stated it was a normal conversation and Klug didn't indicate that anything was amiss.

Authorities were summoned to Klug's home after she didn't show up for work the next morning. Her dog and her vehicle were both at the house, as were almost all her personal belongings, including clothing, makeup and jewelry. Only her purse and one large suitcase were missing. There was no sign of her and no indication of her whereabouts; she has never been heard from again.

Investigators do not believe a serial abductor was involved in Klug's disappearance, but foul play is suspected in her case. Authorities stated she was fond of her dog and would not have left without making arrangements for the animal's care. Klug's case remains unsolved.

Could Alice's case be related to the Patricia Ann Schmidt case? Patricia, like Alice went missing from her home just the year prior to Alice's disappearance. She was also around the same age. She lived about 10 mins away from Alice. My mom went to school with Alice in Ohio. They were friends and ran into each other just before Alice moved to VA, which was the last time my mom spoke to her sadly.

I read somewhere that it wasn’t a suitcase but a seaman’s trunk that was missing. I've googled one and it looks big enough to squeeze a slight woman into.

I don't know what the crime rate was like in that area, but investigators didn't believe it to be a serial offender. The lack of a break in suggests it might be someone familiar to Alice. I wonder if the investigators have someone in mind (an ex-boyfriend or something) but never had anything to pinch him.

as far as I know they don't think she's connected to any other case. her family still lives where Alice grew up. sadly some of her siblings and parents passed away over the years not knowing where she is is etc..

I recently talked to the detective now over the case , I asked if they searched the suspect's property in Louisa county VA. when she came up missing and he said they did get permission from the people that owned the property to search and sadly they didn't find anything at that time .

this is their most updated details on the case in the link below. it even lists the suspects name now but I was told by the detective he passed in 2011 in Florida .

with her jewelry having sapphires instead of her birthstone peridot , many of her jewelry was given to her by family members . I was told Hazel Alice loved things of spiritual nature . A sapphire is a very well known spiritual stone.
