I don't believe her attempts to discredit this are going to be successful. AH counsel is coming off as combative. Never a good tact to take when handling an expert IMO.

AH counsel is not getting anywhere with this. This lady is making counsel look really petty and dumb. the only one getting flustered is said counsel. MOO

yes, though in my eyes the response is probably colored by the fact that I know in many trials it’s practically de rigueur for opposing counsel to try and impugn experts on the double edged sword of their in fact being experts…
IMO it’s usual for experts to make judgments based on aggregating reports received from other experts, instead of meeting the subject themselves; and without knowing whether or not AH was compelled to see JD’s expert and had no choice, it’s actually impressive AH in fact showed up to be interviewed for two solid days by the expert.
unfortunately for AH, the impressiveness is a trifle undone by that little aside where we learn that Amber clearly lied on the PTSD questionnaire (paraphrase: ‘she affirmed a higher percentage than we see from soldiers who have actually seen dreadful things in combat’).

'Can we stop talking about muffins?'
Heard's lawyer Elaine Bredehoft asks clinical and forensic psychologist Doctor Shannon Curry whether it was "highly irregular" to meet with a subject in a litigation, and is read a portion of her deposition in which Dr Curry says it was the "high-profile" nature of the case that made it necessary for Johnny Depp to "vet her".
She is then asked if it's true that she "was so exited [about taking on the high-profile case] that she told her husband she was going to be conducting an examination of Amber Heard" although it was "a highly confidential matter".
Dr Curry says no, she did not tell her husband.
The lawyer now points to part of her deposition in which she mentions her husband bringing muffins into her office for her due to her celebrity case. Dr Curry asks: "May I clarify what occurred so we can stop talking about muffins?"
She goes on to say she asked her husband to "go to the bakery for me to pick up muffins because I was running late, I often do run late..." going on to say: "Miss Heard and I enjoyed the muffins together... And I said something along the lines of 'we can thank my husband for these muffins.'

I wouldn't think so unless she isn't actually bisexual and only says she is to get attention (histrionic). But I don't think there's any legit reason to think she's faking being bisexual.

sure, because we all know that nobody in Hollywood has ever heard of BPD before this therapist meets with JD, lol… isn’t 90 percent of Hollywood in psychotherapy? Nobody could have hit him with an armchair diagnosis to whom he lamented?

dunno but the CourtTV anchor said ahead of time that she usually testifies in criminal cases and that this was her first civil case, so I feel it’s understood…

As the cross examination of clinical and forensic psychologist Doctor Shannon Curry continues, we return to a violent dispute between Amber Heard and her former best friend Rocky Pennington. Heard's lawyer says that while the doctor previously said Rocky Pennington hit Amber without provocation, it's actually true that Ms Pennington hit Heard first and she returned the blow. Dr Curry says she remembers there was some form of violence, between the two. She says it was not her job to assess Ms Pennington.
We move to talk of another clinical psychologist, called Doctor Cowan, who worked with Heard for over two years between 2014 and 2016. Dr Curry is asked whether she remembers him saying he "was worried for Ms Heard's wellbeing?" Dr Curry says she does not remember that, but does remember him saying "it was a toxic relationship". A part of Dr Cowan's testimony is read out in which he notes a message he received from Heard saying "Johnny beat me up pretty good last night".
She's asked if she remembers Dr Cowan calling Heard "believable". Dr Curry says: "You have to take the patient at their word as a therapist".
We move to another psychiatrist called Amy Banks, who worked with Heard after the Australia incident in 2014. She was trying to help Heard and Depp improve their relationship. Dr Curry is asked if she recalls Dr Banks testifying that she "was in a relationship with Johnny Depp that had gotten violent and out of control" - Dr Curry says she does not recall. "That they had physical altercations and his drug use had escalated and she felt she was at risk" - Dr Curry says she does not recall. That "Amber was reporting the violence by Mr Depp and that it was not consensual". - Dr Curry says she does not recall a statement about consent.
In her testimony, Dr Banks says "it is clear that Depp is the one who initiated the violence". She says this is because Heard mentioned it "in the presence of Mr Depp and he did not deny it".
Heard's lawyer summarises: "Ultimately, Dr Banks concluded that Amber Heard was a victim of domestic violence at the hands of Johnny Depp." Dr Curry says she does not recall that.
We move onto yet another doctor - called Laurel Anderson - who Heard's lawyer says also "concluded that Amber Heard was a victim of domestic violence at the hands of Johnny Depp." Dr Curry says again, she does not recall.

I saw this coming. AH Counsel is now attempting to slyly suggest with the nature of her questions that AH behavior was in fact reactive abuse to JD's galighting and provoking abuse. Dr. Curry isn't having it.

I’m sorry, attorney Bredehoft, you will not be able to simultaneously convince the jury that Dr. Curry is interested in illicit drinks with JD; and that her (super) involved husband simultaneously does not mind because he is too busy obsessed with doing special favors for Amber and that she, in turn, does not mind this either…

Officer Melissa Saenz is being questioned about an incident that occurred in Depp's penthouse apartment building in Los Angeles on 21 May 2016.
She was working for LAPD in Central Division at the time, and attended a call to Johnny Depp and Amber Heard's penthouse with a colleague after an alleged fight between the couple.
She is being asked about the "tools" she uses in her job, including body worn video, a field officer notebook and various evidence forms. She says she was first assigned body worn video in the month following her attendance at Depp's house, in June. She says all video footage is uploaded onto video.com along with her unique officer number, so she is sure she didn't have any video footage from her visit to Depp's home (as she says she didn't have a body worn camera at the time).
The officer is asked about her training in domestic violence, and she says it was covered in the police academy. She says that she "goes to a lot of domestic violence calls every day" agreeing that she had probably "attended around 100 domestic violence cases" on the day she went to Depp's home. We also hear that it is a requirement for officers to make a report on all suspected domestic violence cases, even when the victim is non co-operative.
Heard's lawyer is looking at the police report from the night, which she says includes a "supplemental domestic violence report." It includes a list of questions about the state of the location they are attending and whether anything appears damaged, and a list of questions for the suspected victim, which includes "Has the suspect threatened to kill you?" and "Have they ever attempted to strangle, smother, strangle or suffocate you ?" Officer Saenz says she can see that, but agrees she did not fill in those sections on the night of the incident.

IMO Although the outcome of the JD case and AB gun incident will set the precedent for future cases, please tell me I am not the only one feeling like I'm gagging over "celebrities" in general but even more so with disturbing behavior. sigh
