This sounds wholesome and healthy:

But Depp, 58, doesn’t appear to be sweating the difficult nature of his case — and is spending the week off from trial in Europe, a source close to him said.

“Johnny is in Europe taking some time out to rest for a few days, hang out with old friends, playing music, and is taking long walks in the countryside,” the source said.

Also, I can’t recall if we know precisely when she said it in the continuum of their relationship, which makes a difference. Whatever her dramatics, I doubt he’d start their relationship so bluntly, you want to work up to something like that.

Someone was saying on SM they thought Jacob Bloom would testify for her, and after I finished LOLing, I wondered what had actually gone on in Hollywood after JD basically won that huge precedent making suit in 2017; because I remember asking my friend if this wasn’t being a little downplayed on account of his personal life? I mean, you think at least his fellow actors would feel grateful that a judge had finally said ‘hey, yeah, this handshake agreement thing in Hollywood is just… weird. You all need some written contracts like everyone else’; and yet, nobody has as of yet brought it up. Do you have any opinion/insight on whether or not studios, agents etc. are in fact now using more written contracts?

As to the bolded above, my husband had a handshake deal that began in late January, and he began having Zoom meetings and doing some writing for the proposed project in March and April.

He only does that when the producers and directors are people he has worked with previously. In this case, A small group of them have worked together on two previous projects, and everyone was paid and happy with the experience. So because of that, my husband felt fine about moving forward on just a handshake.

Getting a project totally off the ground and ready for final contracts is a big complex task. And sometimes everyone needs to shake hands in agreement in order for the whole thing to come together. Once the lead actor 'agrees', that encourages the chosen director to agree, which brings the investors fully onboard, etc. [ not necessarily in that order]

So it is normal for an actor or writer or producer to agree, on a handshake deal, in order to help the project to come to fruition. My husband just signed contracts last week, and yet he has already written the first 6 episodes in outline form. It is a gamble that paid off this time---but it is still worth it, even if he hadn't been contracted. It is all about networking and having good working relationships in order to get these projects off the ground. Sometimes that means putting some skin in the game before the studios or the investment group agrees to sign contracts and cut the checks.

Remember when I was examining photo exhibit #1806 and pointing out it was a London-based UK paper, and the front page headline dates it to Sept 2014, not Australia March 2015?

Well an eagle eyed Redditor spotted something else:

Photo exhibit #1805, which is also supposed to be from Australia SA incident shows device plugs/socket arrangement which is NOT like Australian electronic outlets at all.

Supposedly during that torturous SA in Queensland, a wine glass was thrown at AH and splattered on the wall.

https://ffxtrail.blob.core.windows.net/trail/Defendant Amber Laura Heard/5-5-2022/Def1805-CL20192911-050522.pdf

Note the triangular/pentagonal shape of the plugs. Which means the single prong is at the top.

Well, in Australia and NZ, standard plugs are circular. They do not have a single prong at the top, but at the bottom instead.

Note that they have to have an off/on button next to the socket too.
Power plug & outlet Type I

Compare this to a UK socket:

Here is (yet again) a MUCH higher res version of exhibit #1805 published in the NY post:

Running with my UK theory, I researched UK brand water bottles and look what I found:

Highland Spring
Highland-Spring-Products.jpg
The house is currently for sale. https://amirprestige.com.au/property/290-colman-road-coomera-qld-4209/#&gid=1&pid=34
There are a few photos that show power outlets.

I did look up the Highland Spring web site and while they have a header "export," AUS is not a country mentioned as one to which they export .... of course folks flying around on their own planes might get their provisions anywhere I guess.

(I would check up on the outlets too, but I know that the last time I traveled somewhere far away, I got adaptors from Amazon, and don't you know they were wrong and did not fit! So I'll take your word for the outlet/plugs being UK.)
This is the actual house they stayed in, I can't see any power points that look similar.

Last I checked this is a civil trial not a criminal one, however much it feels like it.

Regardless of my feelings towards Heard's actions, unless she is arrested and convicted, I refuse to partake in the cancel culture that is so prevalent nowadays.

That's where I stand. End of. Thanks.

She admitted to hitting JD, on a recording that has been played over and over again. That's true regardless of whether she's convicted of anything, and the ACLU should not have an ambassador who is an admitted domestic abuser. End of.

Because this trial has found the audience of the world...live streaming for our viewing 'pleasure' as it were...realistically, I know that there will be zippo arrests or convictions. Fines? Maybe...and those will be forever disputed in the courts. That is how it works, IMO.

I am not expecting a broadcasted verbal, heartfelt apology from either JD or AH. That will not happen either. This is a trial involving the Hollywood Elite, and from what I have gathered over the last few years, these people don't do apologies very well. Even in a criminal matter.
See Jussie Smollet. See the ACLU still supporting him....

What is becoming a norm... is the social media realm watching in real time and coming to a conclusion or verdict on it's own. Trial by the public, a jury of millions?? Interesting times we are living in. The Virginia Court may not get the verdict that many may desire, but the court of public opinion is steadfast.
See Casey Anthony. ( Has she been cancelled? )

I just have to say .. if given the opportunity to stay in a place as beautiful as that, why would anyone want to cloud their view with a mushroom or ecstasy? :( that just blows my mind. I for one, would spend every second of every day sitting on that deck and just simply breathing ... ahhh
I would too, beautiful place and setting. IDK, but maybe some would choose that other route to try to avoid the reality of what was really going on?

I believe the fundamental aspect (and most distressing) of this civil trial is the ACLU and AH (using subterfuge) published an op-ed in Wa-Po that alleged criminal conduct (physical and sexual abuse) by JD. The ACLU gained $3.5 million and AH (a woman with a history of physical abuse) became a public spokesperson representing victimized women. So far, I have yet to see actual proof of the very public allegations put forth by the ACLU and AH. However, I have seen proof that Johnny Depp lost (nearly) everything because of AH (and the ACLU).

And, I'm ordering mega-pints of Graeter's Black Raspberry Chocolate Chip ice cream to get me through the remainder of this trial ;)

Interesting thing pointed out in a video. AH said (in Austraila) that JD threw her across the room and she landed ON a game table. She even made a gesture with her hand indicating on top of. Is he like superman? This 50 something old man picked her up and sent her airborne across a room? Thats believable.

She also said she was holding his lapel and may have taken him flying in the air across the room with her. Yep.
Sounds like JD has the strength of Aquaman.

While I detest "cancel culture", there is such a thing as reaping what you sow.
I do think there will be some pretty harsh blowback onto AH, and I also think it's entirely her own doing.

So, do you live in Cincinnati, too? And for the record, I prefer Coconut Chip.

This has been testified to by persons who have seen the results of JD's destruction of property. Violence against property is abuse.
I don't think violence against your own property is abuse, is it?

100% This. I hate cancel culture too,but this isn't that, this is wanting her to be her accountable for her actions and IMO she absolutely should be.

This is brilliant, TY for posting. The video has some different photos

I just wish we could move the nightstands at 1:04 and 1:05 and see the power outlets behind them. ;)
