I have been commissioned to keep and love our 2 and 4 year old grandsons on Monday....All Day!!! DH insists on overseeing the Entertainment Committee, while I have the Safety Insurance, Owie-fixer, ;) and Hygiene Department. Both of us will try and keep up with the Food and Nutrition Board. The television will be off limits for my viewing pleasure, so it's only via sneak peaks on my laptop or phone that I will be able to keep an eye on the trial. I will do my best to stay updated, but adventure awaits outside for two adorable boys. See you all on the other side of Monday!

I know you will enjoy your time with grandsons! I love how you divide your care (departments/committees! lol). Maybe the "delicious" cross-exam won't start til Tues and you'll be able to enjoy it to it's fullest. ;)

The question I wonder is what the jury will classify as DV. I know that emotional abuse is real and painful. I know that verbal abuse is real and painful. But are these two things DV? If AH consents to the arguments by berating him for "walking away" all the time, isn't she therefore consenting to what goes on in the "fights" verbally and emotionally? If she is the one who starts the physical altercations (and on a tape I listened to, she and Johnny discussed how she did start them), can she be considered a victim of DV?

To my knowledge, I do not think they charge DV for emotional or verbal abuse. Like one of officers testified .. It's not illegal to have an argument with your spouse. Of course I am not a lawyer so I may be wrong .. This is nothing more than an educated guess and MOO.

I do believe that JD would have never called names or spoken to her the way he did if she had not provoked him, taunted him, and continued to berate him. A person can only take so much. I think his verbal outbursts were done from a reactive standpoint. Not saying it's right, but saying I understand. Also MOO.

I always watch back on YouTube streams as well, hope everyone has a chance to do the same Monday evening!
I wonder if AH is getting frantic yet for the week ahead.

I know I can say that I am nervous FOR her :D:cool:

Thanks! Knowing that it will probably be AH's testimony continuing all day tomorrow, I really won't miss the " I remembers.." or her attempt at acting . I will miss the fun and games here though. I would not miss the cross-exam for the world. I plan on being here front and center for that, if possible.

gossip says either Monday afternoon or Tuesday AM is likely.

The clock is ticking .. her team better save some time for her re-direct .. they are going to need it! lol

I keep wondering: How on earth does one get to the point of throwing a glass whiskey bottle at another human being? In this case, the man you recently married? It could have ended in a bloodbath. Which it sort of did. Total insanity.

Anything for a reaction! and anything it takes to show control .. and then after seeing him grab his things to leave, she was probably sweetly saying "baby, calm down" and "you are such a baby Johnny"

In all honesty, I can understand the urge.
I don't lose my temper easily,it takes A LOT to push my buttons, but if I do get past that point, especially the emotional anger, then I absolutely could feel the urge to smash and hit and throw heavy objects at my husband, I love him dearly and have done for 28 years, but my god that man can infuriate me like no other, so yeah I absolutely get that the urge can happen in extreme circumstances and I won't deny that I have had that urge plenty of times in these past years,or that I have kicked something (Not him,or anything at him ) just to get rid of some of the rage BUT I would never use him to do it.
That's the difference between Amber Heard and a normal (relatively in my case ;) ) person. I would never hurt him or anyone else,no matter the anger at that moment, and I would never try to instigate a physical fight either.
I am much more able to stop myself getting to the point that I lose my temper as I have got older too, much more able to realise that there are much more important things in life than being right, than wasting time on bad energy etc.

Disclaimer: I'm not an angry psychopath honestly :p

I sooo agree with you and maybe the PR guy will be smart enough to ask them to limit the time she does her dramatic scenes and less of the "carpet was dirty" in her responses. It is doing her no justice in the public's responses.

We probably all have experience that urge (not too often, hopefully!) but there’s a big fat line between feeling that urge and actually grabbing the bottle and throwing it at someone. I mean, the glass shards can do serious damage. I can imagine JD became pretty scared of her after this episode.

I already sense a division between the AH defense team and the PR man. It seems to me that he is the one directing photographers to capture the tissue wiping fake tears, and her overly done dramatic sad face poses. The PR team has been working overtime this past week, giving statements and interviews to MSM outlets which have the unique qualifiers of " sources close to AH". They are attempting to repair some serious image problems. I believe the attorneys attempting to do their job on AH's team, have been pushed to an extreme by the new PR team, and are none too happy. It shows, IMO.

Add to that....is AH ....who really does not like to be told she is 'wrong'.....and there is some real trouble brewing. Court resuming tomorrow will be interesting to watch...on all sides.

I can relate. I remember once slamming a door in frustration (it flew back and hit me, lol) I always learned my lessons the hard way. ;)

Is anyone expecting a bombshell (or very strong) evidence drop from AH during the remainder of this trial??

I am anxious to see how she changes her behavior on the stand tomorrow. They have had all week to see what's working and what's not (mostly the latter) .. I think we will see version 3 of AH starting at 9 am tomorrow .. and I predict it will be such a change that even the jurors are going to be sitting there like

I sure hope so .. and I hope it comes in during Rebuttal .. or even better .. during AH's cross.

I definitely need to read better .. sorry I just realized you said bombshell from AH .. and I have to agree with Squareandrabbet's post below mine.

As she keeps losing in the court of public opinion, I agree it is a very real possibility she’ll do something desperate, quite possibly against advice of counsel.

In a burst of rage at my bestie (he wasn’t there), I can once remember banging a standing fan so hard on the ground its base broke down to the secret hidden cement. Being attacked by extremes would make me angry - I was very susceptible to physical discomforts like estrogen surges, extreme hunger, and extreme heat; but I never hit anyone on account of it.
