So there is no expert testimony that supports AH's claim that he smashed it on a wall mounted antique phone.
I was reading the testimony AH gave in the UK trial - and in that testimony she even described the colour of the antique phone - mint green. Completely different story btw. She added a lot more at this trial, like the liquor bottle incident. MOO

Did this doctor ever meet JD or AH? Ever treated either one of them? No?? Ok….next!

I think she feels empowered by the feedback on her performance so far but now may be going too far at least that is my impression. Many will disagree.

I felt like she conducted her cross in the same way she did with AH, she is curt and to the point, answer the question I have asked you, not your interpretation of the question to suit your narrative.
She is on Depps side so she only wants answers that contradict anything that helps Heards side.
What I mean is ,IMO, she hasn't been empowered, she has always been this effective.

just saw AH's attire today. She is going for the Colonel Sanders' look??? She is a beautiful woman that almost seems to be trying to look as bad a possible some days. Not sure I get it but all part of the plan I guess.

the party atmosphere at JD's table really is getting to be way too much. I am wondering how it plays with the jury that is right there. Constantly laughing/smiling and seemingly joking at the table....Vasquez cozying up to him...I just don't know. They feel this case is in the bag for their client but seems like the trial is not over yet. CV has really gotten empowered by media reports. Just observations.

Hopefully they are focused on listening to the testimony instead of worrying about what JD's table are doing .. but if not and they are more worried about what is going on at his table then I'm sure they are also watching the smug looks coming from the defendants table

Just curious, have you had the opportunity to witness her in court before this case?

Physician David R Spiegel

The next witness is psychiatrist and physician David R Spiegel. He is being questioned by Johnny Depp's lawyer Elaine Bredehoft.

He says he has treated tens of thousands of patients in his career. He says that drugs and alcohol are used by around 75% of his patients, saying that unfortunately that is now a large part of the psychiatry role. He says around 50% of his patients have suffered trauma, and of those, 25% are the victims of "intimate partner abuse". He again says that is "unfortunate".

When asked how often he has treated perpetrators of intimate partner violence, he agrees it's probably tens of thousands over the years, and around 10% of his patients.

Going back to the defence finger injury expert, I can't help but think he made himself look rather foolish by doggedly stating he is quite sure a vodka bottle didn't cause the injury whilst simultaneously claiming he can't say what caused the injury. Should he not have reconsidered his previous statement? It looks unprofessional and 'logic fail' embarrassing, no?

EB is AH's lawyer, not JD's.

I think I missed something. So what if anything did this witness say?

i think mistake to question this Dr. as an expert. I think he will hold his own

Good Morning! Watching closely, and I am anticipating Dr. Spiegal soon will be confirming that Yes...JD has devil ( Monster) horns attached to his head, and simultaneously he will gently be placing a glowing Halo on AH's head, to signal her place as the ACLU's spokesperson for DV. Just my musings, while I watch them waste their limited time...

This witness is getting kind of... what's the word I'm looking for? Indignant? Ticked off he's having his credentials questioned?
Outrageously pompous?

I completely disagree. I think he just put off the entire jury. And the country, lol.

as mentioned this is my impression based on watching her evolve as this trial goes on. Nothing more. I doubt anyone here has ever seen her before. It is MY opinion.
