WOW A PERPETRATOR OF IPV - that's an horrific statement.

It's coming quite clear that AH and her father are the perpetrators being illuminated in this case.

Curious... a professional, diagnosing a person without EVER having actually treated him, but diagnosing based on heresay.

This is the kind of "professional" you RUN from. Fast, and far.

Phew. This witness is a dick. This would not go over well with me if I was a juror.

I'm behind, had the bloomin school run again  . Am I going to need some angry face emoji's?

I can feel a whole fresh law suit being built here - this guy should NOT RUN HIS MOUTH about a person he's never met

On cross I hope JD counsel asks his opinion on zanax, Seroquel, magic mushrooms ecstasy, cocaine and alcohol and whether those drugs played any role in Amber's behavior. He is going to greet length about how drug abuse played into JD's "abuse" of AH but is he aware that AH was on the same drugs and more?

I just can't get over his diagnosis of JD based purely on heresay. And he just keeps doing it.

EB and the doctor are very slowly ( using lots of time) molding the devil horns on JD's head. But, sadly...for the jury, they are AGAIN attacking his substance abuse issues. The jury has got to be so tired of them stressing this, over and over and over.

Tick Tock

So we're building a picture here that JD is likely to be extremely vulnerable due to impairment from such heavy substance use. As if the average person could not know that.

AH took drugs and drank a lot too though, this is not helpful at all. This does not help the jury. MOO

The worst drugs for blackout are alcohol + diazepam (not coke). I can't believe he's not mentioned this.

This is not compelling testimony. I think testimony about how drugs affect the brain and behaviors makes sense for their argument but this witness ain’t it!

Ok; so basically, our “hand guy” was never asked and did not opine as to whether or not ‘a glass’ toss injury (like, An empty pint?), is not the same as having a “half gallon” of vodka backing it up?

… and the AH shrink expert purports to believe that all folks presenting with bruxism (tooth grinding) are synonymous with IPV??? My mother and I both grind our teeth…

I don’t like either of these witnesses at all.

I've had to mute my feed. Anyone else?

Did anyone see AH hugging her legal team this morning? law & crime reported it. Is she mimicking the chemistry of Johnnys team?

The judge calls for a break and the Dr says “Sorry I talked too much”

The injury does not tally with the cause

Hand surgeon Doctor Richard Moore tells the court he does not believe the cause of Depp's finger injury was "a bottle being thrown from above" and that a bottle thrown from above would not cause such an injury, which included "partial amputation".

So he wore this for the staircase incident?

Depp 'did a movie entirely wasted'

Expert witness, psychiatrist David R Spiegel is being questioned by Amber Heard's lawyer Elaine Bredehoft.

Dr Spiegel confirms he has seen video evidence including Depp: "slamming cupboards, breaking glass and yelling at Ms Heard while having a wine glass in his hand" and also "disruption in the house".

He says he has requested to interview Depp twice, but says his requests have been turned down by Depp and his lawyers.

The doctor confirms that part of his role today is to explain whether he thinks Depp's behaviour is consistent with someone who has substance abuse disorder and also someone who has risk factors for perpetrating intimate partner violence.

After discussing Depp's excessive use of liquor and drugs (both illegal and prescription), he is asked by Heard's lawyer about Depp's ability to "function as an actor".

The court has previously heard that Depp used an earpiece to act with, and it was alleged his lines were sometimes delivered to him this way.

Dr Spiegel says he is aware Depp has "confessed to doing a movie entirely wasted". He apologises that he can't remember which film, but goes on to say "his thinking rate was down... if your attention is impaired, your memory rate is going to be impaired".

However, he continues: "In this trial, [Depp's] cognition has improved, as when you are sober. So I commend him on that."

Depp, who is listening to the evidence, looks entirely stony faced while listening to this, despite the slightly provocative testimony.
