'Negative Q Score'
We are told about three movies Amber Heard was being considered for following her split from Johnny Depp, which includes the movie Ambulance by director Michael Bay, and a production on Amazon Prime Video. Entertainment industry expert Kathryn Arnold tells Depp's lawyer that Heard didn't get any of the roles, following negative publicity.
Johnny Depp's lawyer says there is no evidence she didn't get the parts due to Depp.
He asks about Heard's role as spokesperson for cosmetics company L'Oréal. He asks if she's aware the company made a "
word cloud" of all the negative words used on social media about the actress, and she says she didn't. She also says she didn't know what words were in the cloud.
Depp's lawyer now works through a list of her production credits including a 2013 and a 2010 horror called And Soon The Darkness.
He also tells us Heard received payment of $2119 per week for the 2019 movie The Gully, in which he says she replaced British actress Alice Eve.
Depp's lawyer asks if he thinks Heard's "
negative Q Score" could be a reason for her low earnings, and Ms Arnold says "
Q Scores change all the time, Amber's has been as low as 1".
The Q Score (also known as Q-Rating) is a measurement of the familiarity and appeal of a brand, celebrity, company, or entertainment product used in the America. The higher the Q Score, the more highly regarded the item or person is, among those who are aware of the subject.
