I’m thinking it Could be that. The more questions he asks, the more redirect by AH team . Trying to run out as much time as possible?

He asks a lot of questions, but then I’m not sure what points he’s trying to make?
He is highlighting all the possible acting paths to stardom, and pointing out that AH has missed all of them.

Zendaya is considerably younger, and yet more successful.

Jason Momoa worked his butt off for decades in TV (I must confess I only remember him from GoT) before he reached movie star status.

Chris Pine was the male Mera equivalent in Wonder Woman, and then springboarded directly into an iconic role with decades of fan baggage behind it in Star Trek.

he’s trying to show the jury that if it were going to happen for Amber Heard, now pushing 40 (old in Hollywood) on her own merits, it would have already happened.

The Entertainment Industry Consultant said she has been paid $60,000 by AH team over the past three years. She charges $650 an hour.

She’s been working on this for three years?!

I seriously feel no closer to giving a crap about either of these two than I was before they got on my radar. This trial to me has been 50% farce. I feel like the judge agrees with me on this. :)

It is so tedious and the lawyers’ skills leave much to be desired. I know folks loved Camille’s cross of Amber! I didn’t - please don’t quote me to tell me why it was the best thing ever! Let’s agree to disagree! I found her snark and tone completely unnecessary. I couldn’t help compare to the many excellent crosses I’ve seen in criminal trials - and hers didn’t come close.

I expect the trial to continue in the same vein with disappointing closings in both sides. Only the jury verdict can save us at this point!

I agree somewhat, altho I'm technically 'Team JD', I feel this whole charade is incredibly disappointing all round. I suppose JD felt his hand was forced

Re the tone that CV takes when crossing AH, my personal suspicion is that she knows *exactly* what she's doing - abusers and narcissists value dominance, one-upmanship, superiority, they are very sensitive and fragile to being disrespected and listen out in a paranoid manner for any sign of demeaning or mocking tones of voice, it can trigger them into an uncontrolled rage. I guess some people are hoping for a rage explosion.

Q: You used the term Meteoric rise....

A: I didn't use that ...I meant just standard and typical

[she is lying---she did say that Amber was on the precipice of a meteoritic rise]

Meteoric rise is synonymous with typical rise. Just like "pledge" is synonymous with "donated". :D

Right? How can you have a meteoric rise but expect to make what everyone else makes? She made no sense with that.

So JD is the last witness on the Defense's list. They said they will decide in the morning if they will call him. So they will probably rest first thing? Or what? Waste an hour when they only have 4 left?

I really wanted the attorney to suggest that WB had "pledged" to pay AH $4mil for the third Aqua Man movie.

Also, while many people know that there is a gender based pay issue in Hollywood, Jason Momoa going from $4M to $50M while AH goes from $1M to $2M, is not the best optics for trying to say she’s as valuable a part of the franchise as JM.

Oh I don't know......
Not sure The Judge would agree. We have noted her disposition and character on numerous occasions.

Here's one: In regards to not dismissing the case, in not so much as a pause, she said that regards to the “motion to strike at this juncture, I find the evidence most favorable to the plaintiff,”

I somehow feel that this woman will not be working anywhere anymore, especially Hollywood. If she was an expert on Hollywood stardom, then I have a bridge to sell. She knew nothing!

It’s worth pointing out re: Chris Pine that he was in Star Trek long before he did WW. But yeah what you say is absolutely true across the board.

Not a whole lot since that's only 92 hours. She's not getting rich from her client that's for sure. MOO

So….how did Johnny manage to get AH her role in Aquaman? Certainly wasn’t on her talent alone…MOO

  • #378
When the witness was arguing that there was no pirates 6 so it was irrelevant, why didn't Denison point out that the same was true for Aquaman 3? Or did I miss it?

Agreed!

Really she shot herself in the foot. Narcissist's focus and determination to win at any cost underscore that they have no empathy or spacial awareness.

She has always determined to win at all cost. She should have never wrote that op-ed, she should have never broke the restraining order (let alone audio tapped it), she should have never had TMZ alerted to her divorce...etc.....

She has shot herself in her own foot.

She's like Trevor or Lois Lane. How much do they make?
