Questioning expert witness Kathryn Arnold, Johnny Depp's lawyer asks if she thinks: "A portion of the reason that Mr Depp has received a variety of negative comments in Hollywood is that he engages in lawsuits."

She agrees.

He asks: "When was the last time you met Ms Heard?"

Ms Arnold says she met her for the first time at lunch today.

Depp's lawyer asks how much she has been paid for her involvement in the case and she says: "$650 per hour." She says she has been working on case for about three years, "and over that time has earned around $60,000."

That is the end of the cross examination.

She worked on this case for 3 years, earned 60k, and the only 'comparables' she could find were admittedly by her, not very exact, because she says it is just a loose fitting process. So not definitive? But that is how she is estimating the monetary damages, with a not very exact process?

And when questioned about those comparables, that she spent 3 years choosing and studying ----she had very little knowledge about their past resumes and current projects.

So what exactly did she do for the past 3 years? She called Disney and asked for info and they refused her call. She spoke with co-workers at her agency and asked for info about the contracts of one of the other actors. And what else?

Every time I hear this about her violating the TRO I get so mad and all of a sudden I am getting confused as to which tapes the jury has heard. Do they know she violated to TRO?

If they have been paying attention, they definitely know. JD testified to it and they will have access to the hotel recording.
AH seems to be ok with breaking the law. Gets a TRO, violates it. Takes the dogs illegally to Australia and blames everyone else. MOO

I’m thinking it Could be that. The more questions he asks, the more redirect by AH team . Trying to run out as much time as possible?

Maybe they want to cut down on the amount of witnesses they can call tomorrow by running out the clock today as much as possible?
I don't think they are as concerned about the counterclaim as they are about the DV allegations by AH. IF THEY CAN PROVE SHE IS LYING ABOUT THAT, THE COUNTERCLAIM IS MOOT.

When the witness was arguing that there was no pirates 6 so it was irrelevant, why didn't Denison point out that the same was true for Aquaman 3? Or did I miss it?

If a big producer or director wants to cast Johnny in a future project, one of the best ways to make that happen is to give Johnny's wife a good role in a current film. That's how Hollywood works....a favour for a favour...

Just now live on CourtTV - A forensic psychologist commentator started to comment about Dr. Spiegel’s looks and mannerisms and the CourtTV host checked her real quick and told her we want to hear her opinion about the substance of the testimony! I’ve never seen that before. Haha! Well done!

So the testimony about the fingernail....Isn't it possible that JD's fingers were at rest, perhaps a little sideways, and therefore, when the bottle hit, it hit the flesh and not his nail? Why does AH's team think the bottle had to come down on the nail? Did they mention the plastic phone at all?

As a juror I would take note that AH cannot admit to throwing the bottle that severed his finger. JD has admitted to many things.
And he tried to cover for her on the finger!
He is not the liar here.
She lies way too easy.

Hm I don’t know. I believe the Hollywood expert that the lawsuits have had a negative impact overall in the business. It’s drudged up all these texts and audios. All the ugly personal business/behavior. It’s one thing to suspect that these folks live a hedonistic lifestyle and quite another to have it confirmed in such a clinical fashion. I thinks she’s highly credible on that front as an industry insider.

I have learned way more about JD than I ever wanted to and whereas before I had a positive image of him, now it’s entirely negative. And I was not up to date about all the pre-trial publicity going into this trial. I came into it totally uninformed - didn’t listen to any of the audios etc.

Obv for the people that have always supported him (his fans) this trial won’t change anything. They’ll continue to support him. As for the rest of us who are indifferent, it’s not going to have any impact. I haven’t watched any of his movies in a long time and it will stay that way regardless of the outcome of this trial. So the net effect of this trial will be zero if not negative.

But I could be way wrong. Maybe Hollywood execs will green light Pirates 6 if he wins and it will be a mega success but I seriously doubt it. We’ll see.

All I can say is that I was more or less negative about JD when I first heard about this mess. Then, I became neutral about JD when I read a little about AH. I also have fully acknowledged JD has some issues.
Since the trial , I have become totally 100% JD supporter. Why? Because I can see the truth about who AH really is. I base this on my own personal experience re: this type of person. But I realize we all have different life experiences so I understand a difference of opinion. All JMO

Exactly what I thought. I lay my hand down with my dorsal side up and my finger is a little sideways when relaxed. I don't think you would be pressing your palm flat when at rest. JMHO

Being a seasoned citizen, I was not a JD fan. Knew he was an actor….that’s it. Never heard of AH. Knew nothing about the UK trial or this one. One of my sons was watching & told me that AH was exactly like his ex. OMG…that was scary!!!!
So, started watching while JD was testifying. Watched every second since then. It’s possible that I am now Johnny Depps most elderly fan!!!!
Do not believe one word that AH has uttered. I’ve seen what a woman like her can do to a man. Praying JD prevails <modsnip>

I believe getting your reputation as a domestic abuser cleared -- that this, as a human being, for your own self esteem and soul, for your family and kids, your friends and relatives, will be a positive effect of this trial that is so huge it will be immeasurable. IMHO, you cannot even put a dollar amount on that.

Yes, JD talked about his children on multiple occasions during his testimony. Only one of his reasons for pursuing this case.
