AH, IMO, has falsely accused someone of SA. Ripping out the pages of her book was an annoying, juvenile prank at worst. I can't get het up about it, considering. I can't see how it would be the cause of a lack of chemistry.
I took AH's statements about JM as just more of her projecting. AH IMO is one who needs constant attention. JM has long been known as a prankster onset. But AH attributed it to his ADHD, Hyperactivity and need for attention. All things I suspect those who know her best will or have said about Ms. Heard.

I do believe that there were chemistry issues and that they were very apparent in the post production and editing of that film. As a JM fan, a watcher of the Aquamaaaan movie, I saw the lack of chemistry. Even going so far as to ask myself who the heck is this chick playing Mera and why is she so "flat" onscreen with him? I didn't follow the UK trial and had no real awareness of it when it was happening. MOO JMO and all the jazz hands

What are the Depp / Waldman statements?

A lot has been heard today about the Depp / Waldman statements, which Amber Heard’s team say have damaged the actress’s reputation and curtailed her career.

Adam Waldman is Johnny Depp’s attorney, and he was in the witness box last week, on day 19 of the trial. During questioning from Heard’s team he was asked about passages from three Mail Online articles, all published in 2020.

The first quoted him as saying: "Amber Heard and her friends in the media use fake sexual violence allegations as both a sword and shield, depending on their needs.

"They have selected some of her sexual violence hoax 'facts' as the sword, inflicting them on the public and Mr Depp."

A second article contains quotes from Mr Waldman in which he calls Heard's abuse claims, "an ambush" and "a hoax".

Describing an incident in which Heard accused Depp of throwing a phone at her and trashing their apartment in May 2016, Mr Waldman is quoted as saying: "So Amber and her friends spilled a little wine and roughed the place up, got their stories straight under the direction of a lawyer and publicist, and then placed a second call to 911."

In a third Mail Online article, Mr Waldman is quoted as saying "...we have reached the beginning of the end of Ms Heard's abuse hoax against Johnny Depp." The first part of the sentence is redacted (blanked out for publication).

An article was also published in the magazine Rolling Stone in June 2018, featuring an interview with Depp. When asked Mr Waldman said Depp had set up the interview himself.

The article is described as highlighting "injustice being done to Depp's reputation".

Also, AH doesn't believe they have bad chemistry. She thinks it's an excuse to cut her role. So from her POV there is no chemistry issue.
I question AH version of these events/rationales.

it comes across as super try-hard - “Jason thinks it’s so funny to rip out the last pages of my books, because I just won’t feed his need for attention, hee hee!” - well, who says, lady??

Maybe he doesn’t like you, doesn’t want you to know what the ending of your book is, thinks it’s rude of you to be reading on set, etc.?!

we have only AH’s try-hard word that this is a sign of some esteem. It’s just as easily some illustrative joke in manner of Woody Allen “Zelig“, of how thick some fictive self-absorbed actress character is.

IMO, JMO, etc.

ETA: I see @tlcya is thinking the same thing as me, ha! Jinx

Anything I read or hear, if it comes from her mouth, it's probably a lie. I don't think this way because I'm a bot or because someone on SM said this. Throughout this trial AH has shown that she lies and lies. Who knows what is true when she's involved, we need others to verify. MOO

jury just came in

I suspect this will be the pattern for the remainder.
AH's team is rightfully worried so they'll be doing the legal dance as much as they can.

Well that's a revealing chart....

  • #729
Oh nice, another rebuttal witness refuting, with chart, Katherine Arnold's testimony from yesterday.

It's quite difficult to find out how much Nicole Kidman was paid for Aquaman.

  • #731
wow....this expert witness is going to hurt AH's case.

  • #732
Here comes another chart she isn't going to like. Dang. That pesky old truth thing...

Isn't it curious that JD's witnesses are clear, concise, engaging, and then AH's witnesses are... well, what they are?
Night & day.

Weird, eh?

Much like AH herself (allegedly), you get the distinct impression most of them would drop a dooker on your bed at the first sign of trouble.

I’m watching on Law & Crime …. Who was Amber staring at? Me, the jury or just the camera?

The longer this goes on, the worse AH's future salary offers are going to be.

These witnesses are essentially putting a maximum price on her compensation. On a good day, with a great horoscope, on a a Leap Year. To say she got herself embroiled in this mess to her severe detriment is an understatement.

Couldn't happen to a more deserving person.

It's quite difficult to find out how much Nicole Kidman was paid for Aquaman.
Doesn’t have Aquaman but found this:

Nicole Kidman Salary Highlights

Nicole earned $200,000 for her role in 1990's Days of Thunder. Her salary jumped to $250,000 for 1992's Far and Away $500 thousand for 1993's My Life. Her paycheck jumped to the multi-millions starting with 1995's To Die For, when she took home $2 million. She earned $2.5 million for Batman Forever, $5 million for The Peacemaker, $6.5 million for Eyes Wide Shut and $7 million for Moulin Rouge!, just to name a few. By 2003 she was finally pulling down an A-list $15 million salary per movie for films like Cold Mountain, The Stepford Wives, The Interpreter, and Birth. She earned a career-high $17.5 million for 2005's Bewitched. Between 1990 and 2008 alone Nicole earned a bit over $180 million from movie salaries alone. To date she has earned more than $350 million from acting roles.

I always thought that was a pretty weak argument on the part of Heard. The above makes complete sense and, more specifically, in a Hollywood bottom-line sense.

Thanks, BTW, for your 'bulletins', they're really helpful in providing a concise, objective gist of what's what on a daily basis.
I appreciate the Sky News updates, as well. They were especially helpful this morning when I wasn't home for testimony.

IMO she looks at the camera. I compared that to Rottenborn, sitting beside her, when he looks at the witness.
I've said before that I think she's always looking at the camera.

I believe she was looking at the witness. Looking down her nose, actually, at the witness saying the data is clear, she is NOT comparable to the actors named in yesterday's testimony.
