Aha! I knew her demeanor had changed immediately after lunch yesterday… betcha $7M she ran out to lunch with Whitney yesterday and Whitney told her everything everyone was saying about her snickering on SM.

Unfortunately for her the local CourtTV lawyer/former DV social worker said ‘the narrative is credible: the fact that it is not backed up with any remotely credible photo access is super problematic.’ She said ‘with the injuries that she described, she would not be able to chew. She’d have unbelievable maxillofacial trauma that nobody could hide with anything.’

As for JD finger injury, as long as an expert has told us it’s possible it happened the way he said, I now believe JD utterly, because he has not wavered in the telling of it.

'Every single day I have to relive the trauma'

Amber Heard is returning to the stand to answer questions about her $100m counterclaim against Johnny Depp.

Remember, Depp is suing her for libel for $50m over her 2018 Washington Post article, her counterclaim is also for libel, based on three statements made by one of the actor's attorneys, Adam Waldman, which were published in Mail Online articles in 2020.

Heard is asked by her lawyer Ben Rottenborn how she has been affected by the statements.

"I am harassed, humiliated, threatened, every single day. Even just walking into this courtrom, sitting here in front of the world, having the worst parts of my life, things that I have lived through, used to humiliate me.

"People want to kill me and they tell me so, every day. People want to put my baby in the microwave, and they tell me that. Johnny threatened, promised me, that if I ever left him he'd make me think of him every single day that I lived..."

One of Depp's team objects here.

Asked how the statements and "threats" "continue to manifest themselves" today, she says: "In the harassment, in the humiliation, the campaign against me that's echoed every single day on social media and now in front of cameras in this room.

"Every single day I have to relive the trauma."

I had some thoughts on the finger injury and the debate on whether the glass shattering could do that to the meat of his finger without embedding glass shards in the wound. I think it is possible that the heavy bottle created the smashing injury and when it did so, it forced JD's fingernail down into the meat of his finger. In other words, I wonder if it is possible that the fingernail itself was the sharp object that severed his finger as it was forced down through the meat of his fingertip, thereby leaving the nail and nailbed intact but damaging all that fleshy fingertip beneath.

I wish I could explain this better but I really think that may be how it happened.

That makes sense. IF there are any AH fans in courtroom they would be fearful to admit it. I think most of the courtroom officers and staffers are on Team-Johnny. Certainly the stenographer is a JD fan. Lots of likable chemistry between them.
