Defendant - I did not stop her advances. At some point I told her I was going to go upstairs...to go to bed. She said she was tired and was going to do the same......she took a step to the [bedroom] with me...we had a brief conversation and then she came with me into my bedroom.

Defense attorney - Did you ever talk to her about continuing the relationship that night or after?

Defendant - Not that night but in the next few days. She had indicated she was concerned I was going to tell Christine and that she would lose her job. Which I indicated I was not going to tell Christine.....I had indicated to her that I had previous affairs and that this was just an affair and that there would be no relationship.

Defense attorney - Was Christine aware of your previous affairs?

Defendant - She was aware of at least two.

Defense attorney - Were you aware of her affiars?

Defendant - I was aware that she had affairs. She would travel for work and during this time she would not be available to come home. We were separated a lot. We were both traveling quite a lot for work. I guess that was poor for our relationship at that point. We had gone to therapy for several months and we had decided we were going to continue our marriage.
