I don't like her saying "okay" just about every time she's done with his answer and moving on to the next question.
Kind of sounds like whatever he answered she agrees with.

I think they will straighten it out. It needs to be clear to the jury and it sounds like they need to fine-tune a flowchart for the jury to follow.

I thought it was odd that Brendan would wear jeans and tennis shoes to an important work meeting. Today, the CW asked BB’s supervisor
how someone at the IRS dresses for such meetings. He said in a suit and tie or semi formally BUT he had never worn jeans and tennis shoes to such meetings at the IRS.

Lori Daybell was reprimanded for speaking back to the witnesses after they finished answering a question..
I don't remember the specifics but it sounds similar to the prosecutor saying "okay".

I'm curious if the prosecutor was ever a police officer?

In the YouTube videos of LE pulling over vehicles officers constantly say "okay" to just about everything the person being detained says.

It drives me crazy. Let the answer be enough until the next question. Saying it every time is a distraction. It’s as though she is wrapping up what he says with “Ok” sign-offs. It negates the lingering of what he says.

I’m so disappointed in the states case, it should have been riveting. Not as dramatic as Murdaugh but all of the elements of drama: affair with the nanny, Fet Life-the arranged kinky/violent hook ups, IRS, the letters, a knife and two guns, two murders, no tears, nanny goes to jail first and more. Unless I missed any of these while taking a call or cooking, it feels like a dud.

Just alot of missed opportunities.

For all the planning, that was a big miss.

Yeah, I have to agree….and then the end of court today with the CW charges and the judge was a bit disappointing again.

BB’s emotionless testimony about his wife’s murder, and his extensive descriptions about the minutia as he got trapped into non truths, along with his smirky description about his extramarital affairs, and his disparaging stories about his dead wife and her supposed affairs, I think was enough to get a guilty verdict….hopefully.

Juries can be unpredictable.

What they weight, what they disregard.

I think the CW was intentionally brief, to counter the Defense's slo mo jo. It might work to their advantage. If you're right, you don't have to keep saying it.

JM's testimony was a mess. She's a mess, but IMO BB presented worse. Country bumpkin middle aged numpkin who couldn't resist the attention of the irresistible young nanny. "I loved my wife. We both cheat. It's what we do. I need a lot of sex. She doesn't -- except for violence sex with other people."

This is the mother of his child he's talking about. With no evidence to support it. Sullying her reputation in a blatant attempt to frame/blame/shame her for her own murder.

The jurors will surely ask themselves whether JM and BB were credible. BB would have no reason to lie if things unfolded even kind of as he claimed. We know why JM would lie -- attractive plea deal -- but why would BB lie? Unless he is trying to hide something. JM's testimony is supported. BB's isn't. Which is why he had to testify. To separate himself and Joe from the first 911 call.

He was not successful IMO. I hope the CW will highlight that at closing. If JM called 911 from the basement, why? Unprompted? Unaware of what BB was walking into? And why would she hang up?

Either way, that leaves BB alone with a stabbing victim and a once-shot victim for 11/15 minutes...

The CW was successful in getting their expert to say there was a human voice at the start of the 911 call.... before the moaning....

What are the chances that a dog was moaning rather humanlike within in the same quarter-hour as an individual was shot but didn't immediately succumb to that injury?

What's more likely? That JM was in line of sight or at least ear shot of someone directing her to hang up or that she called 911 before anything occurred, then decided to end the call she initiated, unprompted? Believe her or don't, but there would have been no reason for her to call 911 OR hang up, while chilling in the basement.

BB is lying.
