Not kink shaming, but no mother would arrange this fantasy with a first-time stranger in her family home on such a tight timeline. No effing way. I don't think the jury will buy that, let alone all the other holes in the story.
Not only that. No one that is doing this kind of thing for the first time would take this kind of risk. As in, sight unseen, here's my address, bring a knife! Forget blood disorder, forget everything else. This is like saying, a perfectly sane woman decided to walk in an alley alone at midnight, naked.

It's 12:30 on a Friday.

Any predictions on when jury will reach a verdict?

I say Monday.

Exactly, with the alley being down the hall from her child's room (even if the child is not home, that space is important to a mom).

John Carroll:
"When they lie and manipulate to get someone to make a statement that's not discovering the truth that's planting the truth".

Planting the truth.

Unpack that.

When you dig up what planted, you get.... The Truth.

The truth here is obvious, they concocted this dreadful plan to eliminate CB because she was inconvenient to them.

Jury is being advised before heading to deliberate.

If not by 4:30 today, first thing Monday.

They need to decompress. Deliberation will be their first chance to discuss the case.

They may reach their verdict today but wait on paperwork until Monday. I predict a verdict in under seven hours, granting for four today and three on Monday.

That being said, a verdict within three hours won't surprise me.

I wouldn't be suprised by a fast verdict by this afternoon either. I've noticed on other cases the jurors seem to like to "sleep on it" so that's why I'm leaning toward Monday.

I agree. There is a lot of paperwork to go through. Monday.

‘We want the truth out here': Defense underscores weight of

Brendan's testimony

By

'Carroll said Brendan agreed to testify “because we want the truth out here.”

“Though he has the absolute right not to come up and testify, he testified – and the relationship issues with Juliana Peres Magalhães are touchy – and they’re, you know, an awful story,” he said. “But he sat there and he answered the questions. He was cross-examined. He answered those questions. We're bringing you the truth.”

Ouch. Talking head on CourtTV (still live) just referred to the Defense closing argument as flaccid.

Dare I say 'low blow'?

BB & John Carroll were a defense disaster.

"Thrill" is an interesting concept because when BB was remembering and telling the jury how it all began with the sexual relationship with JM his facial expressions looked like he was reliving it and still found it exciting/thrilling and that thrill it very well may have carried over to murdering CB.

The thought of ever telling JM no obviously never crossed his mind.

Carroll brought out the worst in BB which showed the jury why the CW has charged him with the murders of CB & JR.
imo
I can barely look at BB, his facials drive me crazy. So performative.

He speaks volumes about his guilt when he isn’t speaking. He hasn’t been able to hide that.

One of the jurors has to leave by 4:30 today.
It was announced earlier this week by the judge.
