Just finished reading all the newly unsealed messages between BB/JM and the many various guys they were trying to solicit on Fetlife and it just occurred to me how all these men must feel now (apologies for the poor wording) that they literally dodged a bullet by not having been “picked” by BB/JM to complete their scheme, and it makes it all the more sad for Joe that he DID meet their criteria….

What pisses me off most at this point is that it wasn't 20 years. She'll be out at age 35 at the latest and she can still have children & know the joy of motherhood. Something she ripped from Joe's mom and Christine Banfield.

So so sick. I can't even imagine how this has affected his loved ones. As if losing him wasn't worse enough, the circumstances and the aftermath of the awful smear campaign is just unfathomable to consider. jmo.

Great judge and correct sentence. So many of the talking heads predicted she would do time served. This is a great judge.

She is one of my favorite judges. Unfortunately she is retiring this summer.

She did an outstanding job in the Depp trial. There were so many different personality types and she didn’t waiver. A witness was testifying from his car, in traffic and he was vaping. He wasn’t hiding it, he was blowing smoke circles. Judge Penny said “well that’s a first”

What a wonderful judge who was able to articulate the reason behind her decision so well.

I was also impressed by the victim impact statement made by Joseph Ryan’s aunt. I find it very balanced, fair and powerful.

brendan thought juliana would cover for him. massive age difference between them. he could not even look at her during her testimony in court. proper scumbags.

I didn’t realize that but the same emphasis is still there. He was not the typical witness giving testimony. Why do you think that they let him give a deposition from his smoky car? I would have at least been parked and not blowing smoke towards the camera

The fact that a fetish guy was there at the crack of dawn didnt strike them as odd? Or to ask about it?

street smart detectives would not be fooled by this crazy plot. banfield probably thought he could pull the wool over there eyes because he was an IRS investigator. making out he was a fed is not the same. he probably helped put away some big shot drug dealer for tax evasion, and i hope mr big catches up with him in prison, ha, ha.

All the allowable exhibits are up on the Fairfax county circuit court website under high profile cases. After reading his letters to her, I think I’ve changed my earlier stance and believe he was head over heels for her…….still reading them now.
ETA, his handwriting is atrocious, like a little kids writing.
ETAM (more)…. Although these were written after the murders while she was in jail but he was still out, the intensity of them feels like MORE motive for Brendan to commit the murders to be with J., so I’m surprised the Commonwealth gave such little weight to these as a motive!

BB could not look at her in court during her testimony. he 39 she about 21. massive age difference. it would not take much for her to crumble and roll over on him.

Shot the man who was stabbing his wife.

That he penned himself into his own fabricated story as the hero speaks volumes.

Speaks volumes too that he didn't see how dumb the storyline was.

If the jury can't bring itself to believe either JM or BB, they can believe SSA T.Patrick. There was no work meeting. If there was no meeting, McDonald's falls apart. And it all collapses.

Insight, please: If one engages a potential partner on one of these websites like “Fettish,” does the person going to the trouble to come to your home with “equipment, etc.” to answer your fantasy expect financial compensation? Are the people who accommodate “in search of’s” on this type of website considered sex workers?

I’m asking because if someone had no history of violence toward the opposite sex or seemingly hasn’t displayed a desire to engage in pretend violent sex acts, what would motivate them to answer a request for this very extreme and potentially dangerous fantasy play? It seems out of character without some very lucrative reward. Would the person be agreeing because they were going to get paid?

I’m not victim blaming. I’m asking in general terms as I have zero knowledge about these things. Please excuse my ignorance. Just wondering how these encounters are structured, if financially?

they would agree because its there fantasy. they dont get paid, they get sex obviously.
