Where are you, Kathleen?

I hope LE is working hard on this case.

Praying for you Kathleen? Why can't
LE find you?

"In one statement, a detective says a person told him she saw a man use a key to get into Haley's apartment."

She went on to say she saw that same man "walk down the stairs with an armful of something rolled up, possibly bedding..."

The bedding and the key made Roman suspicious.

"[It's] very unusual. [She's a] very private person. I don't think that anyone would have a key to her apartment. I know we didn't," Roman said.

I feel like I owe it to Kathleen to "bump" her every day. Seems like no one in her life is able/willing to do anything to keep her name in the public's eye, so the least I can do is make sure she is remembered here every day.

If she were a 20 year old college student with parents, family and friends willing to mount a Facebook and Twitter campaign on her behalf, I believe this disappearance would have been solved already. Just my cynical opinion.

Well stated! Reminds me sadly of Amy Ahonen's case:

Good morning, Kathleen. I pray today is the day you are found.

Wish we could get an update from LE. Do they have a POI, are they getting any leads or people calling with tips? What have her co-workers had to say? We don't even know where she worked...do we? Was she in a relationship with someone...if so, where are they?

So sad no one is advocating for her demise. God's speed to LE in bringing her home and justice served. Someone is still out there that harmed her...! I do believe she is gone with all that was found in the apt...or missing. They had to find prints. IMO.

It sounded promising at first, with the police sketch. But either it is a very bad sketch, or people are just afraid to speak up.

Maybe Kathleen was associated with the fringe of society through her job and/or friends, we don't know. But she has apparently met a terrible end at the hands of someone, and that person needs to be caught, tried and incarcerated.

I watch WAVY news every morning and monitor their website; read pilotonline.com and there's nothing about her.

What's interesting is there's now a missing woman in Norfolk and even with minimal family involvement, there are search parties being put together by the public, flyers handed out, and news and radio coverage. She's been gone 36 hours. It helps that she was reported missing as soon as people noticed something was off, not days.

It still baffles me that Ms. Haley stood up her sister for dinner but it took days for the brother in law to even check on her. He saw the bloody/cut up mattress in the dumpsters, saw her vehicle there, saw the condition of the apartment, and it still took days for him to get Ms. Haley's mother to call authorities. I can't help but call foul on that. They were close enough to share meals but no one knows who she was dating or involved with? Her friends all through social media are impressively mum on the whole thing. Pretty impressive for exotic dancers, bar staff, and young people.

I think there may be something else going on here, in addition to Kathleen's disappearance. There seems to be a great hesitancy on everyone's part to speak out about Kathleen's disappearance and (probable) murder. I don't know if this is because of fear, or because LE has asked them not to say anything for some reason. But something just doesn't feel right to me. Could Kathleen's disappearance be part of a bigger picture, maybe a criminal investigation involving co-workers or friends?

I just don't know - I'm struggling to make sense out of what little we know.

It's been my experience that silence is a symptom of shame/fear more than anything else. One trend I'm noticing as I mine Facebook for her friends and associates is that a lot of them are self proclaimed Satanists, Vampires, or other peculiar sects. And not the clean cut, keep it to themselves types.

:what: No wonder no one is stepping forward, imo. Do we know if she was ever married or has children? TIA

I've noticed that too, many of her friends are people on the fringes of society IMO. Not mainstream, whatever the heck that means nowadays! So maybe for their own reasons, they don't want to interact with LE in any way, not even to help LE find Kathleen's killer. I've also wondered if there is a drug component in play here that might keep some people silent.

IIRC, Kathleen is not currently married and has no children.

For some reason, Kathleen's story has really touched me.
Maybe because her beloved dog is missing, too.

Hope today is the day you're found, Kathleen!

I also live fairly close and I'm a bit surprised there isn't news about Kathleen's disappearance. Ive not seen or read anything in about 2 weeks. Really surprises me.... Especially with the blood reportedly found in Kathleen's home. IMO
