Funny you should ask. My email keeps getting rejected for some reason. The Newport news police department does not appear to have a contact email addy, only a contact number. So I sent the email to the detective from the missing persons unit and it keeps coming back to me. I have a paid internet account so I don't understand what went wrong. Anyone have an alternate contact address?

Try this.

Under the Newport News section you should seeL

Ya'll realize that the perpetrator has likely googled the investigation and seen this, right? How creepy... Just so they know... you'll be found out.

Due to the superstorm, I haven't checked in for a couple of days. Sorry to find Kathleen midway down the third page.

Thinking of Kathleen and praying for a resolution.

Another bump. Kathleen, we didn't know you but we are not giving up. You deserve to be found.

Just in case any of Kathleen's co-workers, friends or family happen to read these posts, please consider joining WS and participating in our discussions about Kathleen. We're trying hard to keep interest in Kathleen's case, and input from anyone who knew her would certainly get more interest from other WS'ers.

All JMO and intended to stir up a little more interest in Kathleen (and her dog).

Oh, gosh, I'm getting so discouraged about Kathleen.

This bump's for you, Kathleen.

Me too.
But I won't forget Kathleen and her pup (and I know you won't either, Marilyn) :)

I live in Hampton and check here often. Nothing in the news about her lately.

Years ago I worked in bars around Portsmouth, Chesapeake areas of Hampton Roads and encountered a few women who worked gentlemans clubs. Most, not all but most, women that I met seemed to have some level of paranoia going on.Not saying that they didn't have reason. As a result it seemed that they always had that one guy that seemed to tag along with them everywhere they went. Usually and older guy and not usually an intimate relationship although I am fairly certain most of the guys where hoping that with enough persistance that would change. It always seemed that these guys where not physically intimidating to a point that the women did not feel threatened but provided enough of a presence to provide a sense of security.

I also know that sometimes these guys got the wrong idea about where the relationship was going. I would hope that by now the police have followed up with coworkers and looked into who may have been hanging around.

I wish they gave more of a description of the guy in the sketch. It would seem that if someone got a good enough look at the guy to do a sketch they would also be able to give approximate height, weight, age etc. When I first saw the sketch it reminded me of someone I used know. Although I haven't seen him in about 14 years and with no further information about the guy in the sketch it may not be remotely close to who I thought of.

Just following up. I found the guy I thought looked like the composit sketch and see a definate likeness but too bad there is nothing more to go on.

Also just looked at Kathleen's FB page and now know what everyone is talking about when they mention the t-shirt guy. I was kinda confused.

I'm beginning to think nothing will be revealed unless someone in the know ends up facing time in future. :( She needs to found.

Bumping for Kathleen (and her dog).

Don't worry, we are not going to forget you. I just wish I knew what to do to bring you home.

I have been trying to find anything on the sketch that was released. I find it hard to believe that they have enough of a discription to put together a composit sketch but nothing on approximate age, height, weight etc. I'm just not getting that.
Does anyone know if they have released any more info on this guy?

I am seriously wondering if perhaps LE knows more than they are saying, or has their eyes on a possible suspect. It just does not seem right that Mum is the word when they are looking for a missing person...a missing person with an apartment that screams foul play!
