This past weekend that area was bombarded with snow. The race in Martinsville was cancelled. At 4 am, I don't know if the snow had started yet.

I live nearby. The snow started Saturday afternoon.

The neighborhood looks very nice and safe. Peaceful and quiet. He disappears in the wee, wee hours of the morning on Saturday, March 24, 2018, if I am not mistaken. His wife awakens at approximately 4:30 a.m. and finds that he is not home, but his vehicle and belongings (including phone) are at home. She notifies PD later that day. At what time, precisely, did she notify PD? As I asked before, who else lives in the home? How long has he been married? How long has he resided at this particular address? Does he have friends in the neighborhood?

“Hinchee’s wife woke up at 4 a.m. and saw his wallet, cellphone and keys inside the house, as well as his car in the driveway, but her husband was nowhere to be found. That’s when she contacted police.”

Is there still snow on the ground? Could be he's underneath a snowdrift.

This link is O/T, but is it true Martinsville only got 2 - 3 inches of snow on Saturday ? Still, low temps were in the 20s Sat. & Sun.

Personal experience only but I’m in one of the 4-6” bands and because of the warm ground, the mix of snow and sleet and the wet heavy snow we didn’t have more than 2” on the ground at any given time.

“A neighbor saw him walking up Glade Street about 2 a.m.,” Fincher said. “But him out walking at night was nothing unusual, as he would frequently walk at night after he got off work.”

He’s gotta be out there somewhere. Right? I believe he is incapacitated somewhere. Do not suspect foul play here.

No, it warmed up quickly and all of it is gone.

Dang. That looks like quite a bit of snow. Maybe he slipped and fell while walking. I'm thinking he may be close to home. Because of the snowfall, would the dogs be able to pick up his scent?
