I am so very worried for Lenny. Really seems like such a fantastic kind of guy.

Even though I don't believe that Lenny is in the river, I still think it should be explored. I have not seen LE or any other boats exploring that area. There are commercial and recreational boats out there quite a bit but I haven't seen any official-looking boats actually looking for anything, coming and going but not stopping. And I live very close to that bridge and to the river. I could have missed it, obviously, but I haven't seen anything at all...

Ah, I stand corrected, thank you! Somehow I had missed that. Both wallet and cell phone found on the bridge, on the side where there is no pedestrian traffic. Is it known how close together they were? Forgive me if I've missed something (else), but is there any thought of sending divers into the river? Would that even make any sense?

In all honesty, that is the only reference I have seen regarding his wallet also being found on the bridge. :waitasec:

So I assume someone still has his car or his car was dumped somewhere. I wish they would find it. I feel like a lot of evidence is going to be in that car.

If he met someone on the other side of the bridge, where his phone was found, could he have parked somewhere, like an emergency lane? I am surprised we haven't heard of cameras picking up anything on that bridge?

Well I don't have long distance service or a cell phone. I did however send an email to the VB police with a link to Lenny's missing information along with a photo of the atm screen shot. I also told them I'm a poster here because I wanted to explain how I came up with it. They probably think I'm a nut at this point however, I still see a likeness in the ATM guy and VB rape suspect.

The car hasn't been found, and I think because they are traveling south. Florida, LA, Alabama area. Maybe even Mexico

UPDATE:* Alexandria Police Seek Public’s Help in Identifying Vehicle in Surveillance Photos

Alexandria Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a vehicle that was caught on surveillance cameras during an attempted use of Lenwood “Lenny” Harris’ credit card around 12:00 A.M. Thursday, September 22 in Prince Georges County, Maryland.* The vehicle appears to be a white Dodge Caravan with no front tag and more than one person inside.

Police are continuing to ask for help in identifying a man that used Harris’ credit card on King Street shortly after 1:00 A.M. the same morning as the attempt in Maryland.* The person of interest appears to be a black male wearing a t-shirt and baseball hat.* He has a moustache and a small goatee.* He has a muscular build and tattoos on his right and left forearm.* The tattoo on the inside of his forearm appears to have numbers with a word written below.*

The police department is asking for anyone recognizing the vehicle or the person of interest in the surveillance photos to please call the Criminal Investigations Section of the Alexandria Police Department at 703.746.4711 or the non-emergency number at 703.838.4444.*

Police would also like to talk with anyone who spoke with Lenny Harris on Wednesday, September 21.

A “Lenny Harris Reward Fund” has been established by private donors at Virginia Commerce Bank.* Anyone wishing to contribute to the fund can go to any bank branch and make a donation.* St. Elmo’s Coffee Shop, located at 2300 Mount Vernon Avenue is also accepting donations for the fund.

I didn't even notice that it said PG County. So then I started searching online and almost missed the deadline for picking up the kids from school... :o

Does that say "Capital One" on the ATM? I see a capital one bank in Ft Washington...

Am still looking thru PG county banks...

Belimom don't feel bad, there's been many times I've almost forgotten to do a school pick up due to sleuthing!

Edit: must be capital one bank, same swish thingy on the logo, see their home page: https://www.capitalone.com/?id=bank

Unless the guy in the first ATM still shot put a watch on his left hand, the guy seen here in the van/car is not the same fellow.

Other possible Capital One locations:

Oxon Hill(this one is RIGHT off the beltway)

A couple just outside Suitland (which, when my husband was there at ONI in the Navy, was not the safest area!)

And then another In Lake Arbor.

FYI, here's a live webcam of Woodrow Wilson Bridge. If someone had stopped, I think LE would have seen it on a video somewhere:

http://www.chart.state.md.us/TravInfo/trafficcams.php#

Then find the link that says "I-95/495 ON WOODROW WILSON BR-MD"

Just to give you an idea of how busy the bridge is all hours of the day/night, here's a screenshot I just took at about 11:30pm - there's no way anyone could stop their car on that bridge and it go unnoticed... and there's really no where to pull off on the outer loop (the one on the far right of the screen). Even the "emergency lane" is very narrow.

Oxon Hill is just as bad as Suitland. Maybe worse.

Shows you how much I ventured into southern PG county. We lived up in College Park/Greenbelt area. Only time I went south really was to Upper Marlboro to get married at th e courthouse, down to shop on base at Andrews, or drop husband off @ ONI in Suitland. :)

So going by these ATM locations, unless they went south to the Ft Washington branch, looks like they were headed up the beltway further into PG county. Endless possibilities of where they or Lenny could have ended up.

And there's still the question of where Lenny's vehicle is.

How does a man go missing, almost into thin air, it seems?!

Okay, this article states that the ATM was at an "unspecified Chevy Chase ATM". But Chevy Chase is Mont. County?

http://www.nbcwashington.com/news/l...in-Missing-Alexandria-Man-Case-130811498.html

Further, there are no Capital One banks in Chevy Chase...

Now, I suppose they could mean Chevy Chase Bank, but that logo in tne pic clearly looks like the Capital One logo to me, and in one of the pics you can make out the letters in "Capital".

Color me confused.
