Bass initially thought the body was a deer, but when he saw what appeared to be a human skull, along with fingers and toes, he knew he had to call police, he said.

He saw toes....

So I guess we can safely assume her boots & tights were off.

I would have thought it odd if I hadn't read some of Gils' previous writings. After hearing her statement about the bones it didn't even phase me because it sounded like something she'd say. In fact, it reminded me of a blog she had written early on.

We are getting more ragged. Dan is losing so much weight he is hitching up his pants constantly. We are forced to have such new intimacies like this with our friends. It doesn’t feel weird, though. I am starting to look like a stick with a bun. Even the dog won’t eat. We are becoming a family of skeletons. Morgan, are you a skeleton now too? …


I thought that was morbid at the time, but soon just realized it was just her way of thinking and dealing with the situation.

I think she writes beautifully.

Is there a way we could make a "sticky" post with some FAQs? Maybe with info about things we do know...such as the no reentry policy, maps of the area, etc. Maybe just add the info to the beginning of each thread in a summary.

There is so much we don't know that it might help new readers to catch up. We have accumulated a lot of good info in previous threads that gets lost in the shuffle.

I can work on it if anyone thinks it would be helpful.

Good idea. And a refresher on sightings discounted inside the Arena. The video and the pictures are not of MH IIRC.

I wonder if there are any survillence videos of her friends coming in the arena or leaving to see if she was with them on their arrival or departure. That would at least answer the question if she was really there or not. Also I read somewhere she left for the "bathroom" right before Metallica started playing. If this was her fave band does not seem likely to me that she would leave and miss the opening performance of her fave band, Something is just wrong with this pic IMO

Does anyone know the answers to these questions?

...that truly is hard to believe...also as many concerts as I've been to I've never seen a girl go by herself,never,girls go the bathroom in groups.....almost always....I just can't see her say "I'm going to the bathroom" and none of her friends are going with her....I think that's so odd.

I agree every concert I have been too girls go the bathroom together. The whole story with her friends is BS as far as I am concerned. There is more to it than meets the eye...IMO

i'm a (female) music critic and go to over a hundred shows a year in venues big and small. i'll go to the bathroom by myself all the time. i don't think it's that hard to believe that she went by herself at all.

Why aren't there any pictures taken by the group as the got ready to go...arriving...looking at the arena..it is just so weird with cell phones with camera's NOT ONE FRIEND took any pictures of them in front of their car at the concert area.
That to me is just so strange...group of friends snapping pictures would make more sense don't you think...looks like some of the friends would have some pictures of them that day!
If there are any, they have not been posted to my knowledge.

It's possible, but doubtful. Most likely they went up I 81 to I 64.

everything about Morgan's case from the moment she exited the venue till where she was found and how she got there is so utterly mysterious

Also in this article, Bass states that he saw the skull, fingers, and TOES. Evidently Morgan did not still have the boots on.

So we now have another small piece of information.

ETA: I read the article and posted. Catching up here I see that others noticed that also. Must learn to catch up completely before posting!

I'd imagine LE would still want them to be careful what they say as they still haven't caught the person(s) responsible.

IMO, their story doesn't add up or make sense. I'm hoping it's because they've been told to keep quiet about certain facts, rather than an attempt to hide anything for whatever reason. As distraught as they've been, I tend to believe it was the former.

Again, jmo, I don't believe she was buried. Although it's been pointed out that a car could have accessed that area from adjacent property, there was still the fence and I don't see someone taking the effort or the time to carry a shovel/dig a spot. I think she was just dumped by someone familiar enough with the area to know that finding her body was unlikely to occur for some time, if ever. Also, a spot dug out large enough to bury her would have been easily seen (as a 'bare' patch in the grass).
