I'm sorry I havn't read this whole thread so i don't know if anything like this has been mentioned yet but there was a caller that called in on HLN and his comment was that there is a small 2 bedroom cottage on the other side of that farmland and that this place was used to party. He went to school there and he said he is very familiar with that farmland because he used to party there and so did many others.

Yes he said that he use to party there in the 80s and 90s.

imo

Morgan's parents are remarkable. It's beyond me how they can be so composed and stoic during what must be the most difficult time of their lives. :rose:

A bit off topic but yep, that is exactly the reason. In the South they used to have something called “Blue Laws”.

Here in Indiana, we still have Blue Laws about drinking ... no alcohol sales (outside of restaurants) on Sunday or on voting day before the polls close, or on Christmas Day! I still think it's weird.
But hunting ... that seems really odd, since 'back in the day' people HAD to hunt to provide for their families.
Ah, well!

There seem to be so many stories coming out about this case. I find it hard to believe anything unless it comes from a reputable news source.

I hope and feel sure that LE will find this perp soon.

Dr. & Jill Harrington are both showing extraordinary grace and strength under such tremendous grief. Their faith is inspirational. Their overriding concern for the safety of others in the community is also so obviously heartfelt. God bless them and lead investigators to whomever is responsible for the senseless slaughter of their beautiful daughter. No parent should ever have to endure what they've gone through either. Prayers for Morgan's family and loved ones. :prayer:

It seems that from many accounts, Morgan was under the influence at the time she was last seen.
Does she have any history of substance abuse? What about her companions, were they drinking/using as well that night?

They are remarkable. They share traits that would buoy anyone up in a terrible time: love, faith, compassion and intellect.

The loss of a child they raised is a loss to all of us.

God help them take comfort in the memory of lovely Morgan.

Or could it be someone put 'something' into a drink and she didn't know it? MOO

http://www.topix.net/forum/city/richmond-va/TS6H3QRERE2FVLC0Q#commentsI know it's a very odd posting, but the person says from the outset that they are autistic and a savant. I don't like to rule out any kind of help, even if I don't understand it.
I posted a reply to him, as I don't see what house (or the area of the house) is that he thinks Morgan escaped.

Someone pointed out, in reply to my query, that BlindBowMan said he was starting at a house on Red Hill Road (the one that runs parallel-ish to Anchorage Farm Road)
House |#4
1 hr ago In the first paragraph he said he thinks she came from a house on Red Hill Rd. That road is to the west of the farm.

Yeah I said that too a few pages back in response to you. I guess you missed it. :-)

I thought the Harrington's were pretty adamant, early on, that Morgan didn't have any boyfriends. Seemed inferred to me none in the present or the past. I kind of found that hard to believe. So who is supposed to be this ex-beau? Any idea?

Do we have more info about this ex-boyfriend? Where does he live?

LOL We need to visit MBLover on Gilligan's Island about now!

I'm in Western NC, 14 mi. from Asheville and we've got about 10 inches already and it's still pouring down! Beautiful but very dangerous..Lot of the roads closed, parts of I40 and I26, etc...

Anyway can someone give me the link that people are referring to??
Please, pretty please???

LOL! Love it! Ya'll come on over...although I'll have to tell you it started snowing here about 30 minutes ago...

I am unfamiliar with the area being referred to here. Does the ex live near to where Morgan went missing?

  • #380
Has anyone looked at or interviewed the ex-boyfriend who lives in Charlottesville and who has access to land and hunts?
