Is it even true that there were extra tickets?
Not that we know of.
Is it even true that there were extra tickets?
Not that we know of.
Per Walker "I also spoke with current JMU student, Northside High School graduate, and close friend of Morgan Harrington, Sarah Snead. Snead told me she was one of the three people in Morgans car on the way to the Metallica concert, and one of the two people in the car on the way back from the concert to JMU."
Walker now I am confused. Are you saying that only three people were in Morgans car going to the concert and two going home. I thought Morgan, two friends and the boyfriend of another friend were there. Per your post it would make three going and one missing on the ride home. Would that be the unidentified boyfriend?
So are you thinking Morgan never even went to the concert?
Walker you do bring up a very good point, and give a very strong possible theory to back it up.
Say the boyfriend of one of Morgan's girlfriends, is the one who left, taking into consideration your theory as a possibility. Perhaps he had Morgan's keys and had got into a fight with his girlfriend who was there. Maybe Morgan was sent outside to mediate the situation? When she got outside, he was gone along with the her car. She couldn't get back inside and finally supposedly one of her girlfriends inside the arena text her.
Morgan attempts to get back inside to no avail.
Would it be possible that the "boyfriend" who attended this concert with them was not one of the other girl's boyfriends at all. But that, he was indeed Morgans? Maybe her parents didn't like him so the girlfriends were helping cover for Morgan, saying to LE that he was one of theirs and not Morgan's boyfriend.
Just throwing some possible scenarios out there..
Walker, this theory of yours is quite impressive! Please do elaborate more upon it.
Also, what is your take on why we've not heard the name of the "boyfriend" that was them that night mentioned?
Others have brought it up, and it is a good question. We know the names of the girls who went, yet it seems as for their male companion, they have neglected to mention his name..
We don't know, but say that there were extra tickets in the car. (Someone couldn't make it that night). Morgan would have been more likely to leave thinking that she would have no trouble at all going right back in. We don't know, though.
I need some help from the female members that post here please. Maybe you can help me with this line of thinking. I have seen many posts by females here and elsewhere about Morgan always looking great when it comes to her hair, makeup and clothing. Even in a casual situation when others are dressed down, shes dressed up. We all know what Morgan was wearing that night, but does anyone know what the other girls were wearing the night of the concert? Was Morgan dressed to kill compared to them? If so, it might mean she had plans to be elsewhere that night. Also in the same line of thinking, several women have commented on how important it was to her to always look great in any situation, hence the makeup, cloths, etc. Could a 20 year old girl be so worried or so vain about a cut on her face as to leave the JPJ arena and not want to return because she didnt want to be seen? There is no reason for my asking other than curiosity, especially when it comes to how the others were dressed that night. It may be Im just thinking like a guy here and way off base that those things might be important.
but the possibility of there being extra tickets gets very speculative that it confuses things.
I really think Mr. Harrington confirmed he bought 4 tickets that were used by Morgan, the two females and one male that rode down together.
If that's the case then to think there might be extra tickets skips too many steps.. in my opinion... into speculation.
I mean there could have been scalpers outside too and she could have thought she'd get back in that way... but it's just a few too many dots away from what we have ... again in my opinion... and causes ... at least me... confusion.
It's still on my mind. I seriously wonder why LE has not released a photo of the following items: t-shirt, skirt, handbag, and boots. Why not post: photos similar to the items Morgan was last seen wearing. Do you recall seeing a person wearing this attire?
I dont believe it would jeopardize any future witness accounts.
If she were so upset about the cut on her face.. I think she'd seek medical attention from the arena... first aid station or go back to her friends for help.. I do not think she left the arena for this.
I'm sorry I haven't been on today. I have had a terrible migraine. I am trying to catch up so forgive me for not quoting.
The Blue light phone that is in the parking lot by the baseball field behind what they call the RV lot was broken. We took a pic there. It is here: http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f200/tracynb/For%20Morgan/Morgan010-1.jpg
Say if Morgan and her date were an inter-racial couple, might they attract negative attention, enough to make him want to leave early?
QUOTE]
Respectfully snipped.
Even if Morgan met someone of a different race, I don't think she would have had any problems. I have bi-racial children and have never had any problems at all in Charlottesville. I think because it is a college town and home to a major medical center - there are lots of inter-racial couples. I see lots of races together and know many mixed children and couples. I have never heard of any problems with race in the area. In my experience, Charlottesville is a very open minded and accepting area. There are many gays, races, socio-economic groups and all seem to live pretty much in harmony. I can't think of any instances of hate crimes in that area...and very little gang activity in/near the campus area. Most of the gang activity I am aware of has happened right in the city area and not over by the campus. IMHO, of course.
Incredible. When was this photo taken? Approximately how far from the RV lot is this phone located?
I keep hearing "cut on the chin" - are we sure she had a cut on her chin? Is there any chance she might have had a bloody nose that dripped or smudged onto her chin?
Wild speculation here, but could she have gotten a bloody nose doing coke? If so, it would explain why she wouldn't go to a first-aid station, and perhaps why she might have gone outside to get cleaned up. (She could have even gone to the car - either with another key, or perhaps the car wasn't locked.)
Contradictory info has been presented about Morgan's party; how many people, how many cars, and how many tickets that her father paid for. However, at this point in time, we have reports that at least two female companions, and at least one male companion were present that night.

Quote: "A male who traveled to the concert with the three women from Harrisonburg has never been publicly identified, and while police and the Harrington family have declined to name him, he is not considered a suspect, says Virginia State Police spokesperson Corinne Geller, who said on November 13 that Morgan had her thumb out to hitch a ride."
However, one of the girls offered a seemingly contradictory statement.

However, earlier the possibility that Morgan's party arrived in two cars at the concert was mentioned. Two cars could account for this discrepancy.
This picture was taken on October 25th.
I edited the pic with the location of where the purse was found to show you where the box is located. Orange arrow indcates where the box is. P - represents the purse.

Since we are talking about this area again. I would like to mention that when we were there - there was lots of construction going on. There were big dumpsters and piles of dirt. We even saw a shovel out near one of the smaller piles of dirt.

Do you have a link? This statement would conflict with Sarah Snead's statement; but who knows?
Snead's statement:

The possibility of an extra ticket outside is only a very small detail anyway.
