THANK YOU WEBSLEUTHERS for posting the live tweets. I just caught up with your coverage. Excellent work and much appreciated by me!!
Onward we go....
Onward we go....
I think maybe it's been a long day and my brain isn't working. Can you please explain the 17 hrs. TIA
I didn't realize the timeline until now:
Per the prosecution, DE stabbed Nicole and left her bleeding/dying on Craig Creek Road, and didn't return to the murder scene until 17 hours later. (Keepers accompanied him on the "return")
Opening arguments video (Pettit/prosecution) ... "timeline" so to speak starts at approx 6:00 and around 7:13 is where she specifically says "17 hours".
I can type a little transcript maybe

Thank you. I'll re-watch.
The prosecution's case is much weaker than i thought. Keepers is looking really bad too. At this point, i would say Eisenhauer slips right out.
You make an excellent point. I think DE may very well come out ahead being the first tried and dragging NK through the mud. NK's stuck. If her lawyers allow her to testify, she implicates herself. If she remains silent, DE's team crucifies her. This is going to be ugly.
I got distracted this afternoon and evening. Can you tell me where you got the information for the timeline? TIA!
ETA: Reading through the news stories today, I'm still not finding anything to indicate NK was at the crime scene when DE first took NL into the woods to kill her. Not saying it didn't happen, but am trying to put that together from the testimony today.
Sadly I have to agree. DavidE looked very tired today, very very greasy hair, had some big unsightly bags under his eyes, and yawned quite a bit. He may very well get off of this one, but dont expect a running career anytime in the near future. Eisenhauer has gained a lot weight behind bars..
A nearby Division III school that fields a collegiate Cross Country program already said they have a program that would suit him fine.
In Defense attorney John Lichenstein's opening statements, he mentioned NK and Cassandra Claire's book Clockwork Angel. I Googled and found out what this book was all about . I am wondering how this book ties into all this ( at around 9:48 in the video- "murder-by-stabbing...not yet 14 year old girl...murderer takes the personal possessions of the victim in that novel.. takes possession of them and brings them into her own house")

NK brought Nicole's things in a duffel bag to her place.
He also mentioned that:
-hand prints on shovel not Eisenhauer's, but are NK's
-bloody stick - hairs were Nicole's and NK's
-NK said she planned Nicole's death
I haven't watched the prosecutor's opening yet tho'.
What evidence does the prosecutor have on Eisenhauer, I'm wondering??? Just NK's words??

I think I was busy typing and missed your post, BettyP.... but I think we're on the same page/and in agreement.
I don't know if my quickie transcript is 100% correct but feel free to change/add/etc.
I worry when there is a trial of he said she said.
I really hope they both get put away forever.
