Evidently, I have missed something. Is the "mystery accomplice" for real or speculation?

Harold now talking about DNA found on this stick. Says the probability the DNA on the broken looking end belongs to anybody other than Nicole Lovell is about 1 in 7 billion. The stick was found in the gym back that the prosecution introduced yesterday.

She was more scientific, but Harold says Eisenhauer's DNA was found under Lovell's fingernails. (Odds it was... (link: https://fb.me/W5kx6ehZ) fb.me/W5kx6ehZ

Dumb question...was this a bag in his car? His dorm? Or what?

2:40 p.m.:

After a short break testimony continues with Nicole Harold, the forensic science supervisor. She extracted blood stains on the gym bag, the DNA matched Nicole Lovell's. A picture of blood stains on a minions blanket is proved to belong to Lovell. The same goes for a pair of female underpants. Blood was collected from the waistband. Harvey said she was not able to extra DNA from four cleaning clothes and one wash cloth that had blood.

A stick with hair fiber and blood on it was examined. The blood belonged to Nicole Lovell. Harvery was not able to use testing to pull DNA from the hair.

Boots, attorneys say belonged to Natalie Keepers, had blood stains on it. The blood belonged to Nicole Lovell. Harold is shown a picture of a shovel, and again tells the court the blood belonged to Lovell. Tony Anderson asks why some pieces of evidence were tested forensically and others were not. Harvey said she doesn’t always examine evidence that are found in groups.

Just caught up. There have been 161 pieces of forensic evidence submitted for this case. I believe we're getting close to the last one.

I/we have seen cases with much less forensics secure a conviction. Just sayin........

Sorry just popping back in from being out for a bit. Question: Have they addressed the bloody sneakers ceased from DE's dorm room that night yet?

Wonder if they counted each of the 48 or so used cleaning wipes or if they are considered "one" item grouped together? (Still shaking my head that NK kept them.)

They've done a great job placing him with Nicole....but have they made a convincing case that he is the one who administered the fatal injury that killed her?

Looks like that afternoon lull, not much coming in. They are probably getting ready to do their news reports.

Time to go to the grocery store...

I'm afraid to ask who was the owner of the bloody underwear found in NK's room. I can't imagine any scenario that isn't horrible.

The prosecution has recalled Detective Desiree Twigger with BPD again. From initials questions, it sounds like they will be talking about messages sent on cell phones.

Detective Desiree Twigger recalled now. She's testifying about how police searched Natalie Keepers' phone records and messaging data/history.

A tweet earlier states that foreign DNA tested on Nicole's body eliminated Keepers but not DE. Then the DNA under the fingernails cements the deal for me.

Not yet for sure. Let's hope there's much more. I'm eager for them to discuss specific things to DE, besides blood in his car. They've confirmed DE's DNA on NL's body and under her fingernails, so there's that. But I'd be more comfortable with blood on his shoes, his dna found on the knife recovered, somebody linking the knife found to causing the injuries, etc.

My concern will be that defense will stir up some smoke about all of this unknown dna and how someone other than DE could have driven his car, etc...and the dna on NL's body and under fingernails were done after a brief make-out encounter when he didn't want to "hurt her feelings" so he smooched a bit before leaving her apartment.

I think we're close. But remember "the hand of one is the hand of all"
