I can't find any sympathy for them. LE charged them with abuse and neglect, not just neglect. Wouldn't the saddest day of her life have been when her little five year old son was found dead in the septic tank?

You know, I didn't see any photos of the baby on either fb page or elsewhere. Maybe I looked too late, after everything was made private. Angel also never saw the baby.. wasn't aware there was one. No telling how she was being cared for.

Did your friend see Ashley when she was pregnant?

And, I think she is 9 months old, which was almost certainly guarantee that she was mobile, and less likely to sleep for 3 hours after being up 1 hour or so after a full night's sleep. My 6 month old just went down for a nap.. I'll be lucky if he sleeps 45 minutes.

I hate to say this until we know for sure.............BUT
an unsocialised, unwanted baby, born to addicts would not have the same development as a loved one. 6 or 9 months ago would be July ~ Sept birth............nice weather and baby not out and about, did the baby stay in her crib 24/7? Angel never saw her pregnant? I wonder what her co workers will say about this? LE saw something bad to get help for this baby! Did she need medical attention? JMOO

It's a shame that it's obvious from the charges that the 9 month old probably hasn't known anything but abuse. I hope she is with a loving, patient family

I had a flashback to a father whose son had been brutally murdered and sexually mutilated. The courtroom was packed with onlookers, curious members of the community, and when it came time to show the pictures of this poor mutilated baby to the jury, the father requested the judge order the courtroom cleared, out of respect for his son. The judge refused to do it and the Dad made a long statement about other people getting curious pleasure out of his pain.

That's what crosses my mind when I think of people wanting to watch Ashley's hearing and "enjoy it over dinner". I'm probably one of the few here who is open to the possibility that she was just merely neglectful to a criminal degree - that is, he was terribly unsupervised as well as the baby, and the possibility that drugs were found in the home. I am open to the possibility that she truly did not know what happened to him, and was horrified when his little body was found in the septic tank.

Although I didn't sleep when my kids were awake, i would have great empathy for parents who lose a child that way.

Lawyers and money.............since AW mother passed away............inheritance? and PRT parents are passed also......inheritance.
Do they own or rent mobile home? car? anything worth money to pay lawyers?

IIRC Heather Elvis went missing septic tanks were explored............wonder if the C's was?

I doubt there is $100 between them. The aunt said they both worked all the time just to make ends meet.

Maybe I missed it, but I haven't read any hatred toward them. However, I don't think if it looked like an accident that they would have removed the baby so fast. We don't know what happened yet, but to whomever hurt that sweet baby, hell is to good for them.

Let's look at it this way...best case scenario is that both of those kids were horribly abused AND neglected (as evidenced by FELONY charges). That's the BEST case scenario, folks.

You know the worst case scenario, because it happened.

I guess we won't have answers until the autopsy is revealed. I agree with everyone, it may be that he died from abuse and was placed in the septic tank by a parent trying to conceal their crime.

We'll see in weeks, I guess.

True... The baby may not have met milestones normally. Something made LE remove her quickly from the home. I guess it had to be something obvious.

And, no, Angel never saw her pregnant. The one time she did she her, she was not pregnant.. It would have been when the baby was a month-2 months old.

Yep, this is not "Oh, Mom just didn't keep an eye on the kids". No way.

Nope. Only saw her once the whole time they lived there. She came out on the porch and yelled at Noah to come inside. She was not pregnant at the time. It would have been after the baby was born. Maybe 1-2 months old.

Thankfully she is young enough to not remember this later on but so heartbreaking that she will never remember her big brother Just tears me up!

There is a difference between an accident when the parent is competent and non-neglectful and an accident when the parent is a drug or alcohol user/abuser. It is not an accident if you don't protect your child from danger.

If Noah had access to drugs in the house, it is foreseeable for both parents to know that he could be harmed. If mom was breastfeeding and taking drugs, it is foreseeable that both parents could anticipate the baby could be harmed. They have two kids. I am sure that people/doctors/hospital staff talked about chemicals in the home.

We have not heard about physical marks on either child. I hope future proceedings don't have evidence of repeated physical or sexual abuse.

I hope that Noah was deceased when he was walked out to that tank. I hope he never knew what happened and his death was lightning fast. He deserves to have known no pain as all victims do.
