Excuse me ,but where did I say I condoned it? <modsnip>

<modsnip>I think reading the charges and some prior discussion would help.

And if Noah had fell and cracked his head on an end table and died while mom was doing the dishes I suppose she should still deserve to be punished for not being there to catch the fall.

You do realize that the kids are 5 years and 6 months, right? There is absolutely no justifiable reason for leaving children that age home alone.

None. not so ever!

Ok, but the lid was ON the tank. It was closed.

This has been discussed ad nauseum at this point.

I do suggest reading the charges for AW, that should clear it up for you. Be warned, it includes the words "mutilation, forced ingestion of illegal substances" and "physical injury".

Those are things that can cause her to be charged with what she was charged with.Nobody knows which it was.It could have been the physical injury that was caused when he fell into the septic tank.

I'm so thrilled that they didn't get bond today. Hopefully those 2 will never walk out of jail again. It's a blessing that Baby A is too young to realize how much she has been forced to survive.

I agree. Lord. This discussion sent me running to Google to find out what in the world had changed in the last few hours that now Ashley was charged with all those horrific things.

Come to find out, nothing. Nothing has changed. She has not been charged with those things at all - those are things that sometimes fall under the umbrella of what she has been charged with.

Not surprised bond denied. I am surprised about the admission the kids were home alone; I would have thought they'd eat their own tongues before admitting that.

2 people are being held on no bond. Accident is unlikely.

If a child dies because you 'accidently' leave them home alone. Then you accidently report the child missing instead of dead. If you accidently did drugs around them. We may have differing ideas of the word 'accident' versus 'neglect'. But the charges to date say neglect and abuse.

Welcome home Jeanna, we were just wondering where you were.

I think they had to come clean on that one. LE had footage of PT and AW on the Sunday morning, it will have shown they didn't have the children with them.

That's what I'm thinking, too. I think everyone has followed cases where mom left the house to go to the grocery store - napped, whatever, and through some horrific accident the child dies as a result of that neglect. I've never seen them jailed without bond for that neglect.

So it does stand to reason that what isn't being said yet, is that they are being charged in light of evidence that goes far beyond the parents leaving the home to take Dad to work, and then Mom coming back home and napping instead of checking on the kids.

It seems there is probably more. I was hoping the autopsy tox tests would be available today.

I don't think Ashley had any choice but to admit to that. Otherwise she had put Paul free and clear. I'm shocked to hear that she admitted it on Day 2 though.

Do you know, just a ballpark guess, what the temperature was in Dublin on March 22/23rd?

I'd have to look it up. The area has seen some wild swings lately.

Please show me where the charges include murder or manslaughter. This did not end up in the "physical injury" category. This was a death. They obviously have not determined if Noah went in alone or if he was placed in the tank so I don't see how you can conclude it as a fact. When LE and the DA make that determination...the charges will reflect their theory which they will then try to prove in court. They are not there yet. I read the charges and it is very clear to me.

Understatement of the year! Are you getting flooded today?

An angry mob with torches can also deny a person bond too.

"Thomas' attorney, Lindsay Honeycutt, argued that under normal circumstances his client would be granted bond, but the “highly publicized nature” of the case has contributed to the matter."
