High School football coaches in these small Appalachian towns are treated like Gods, especially winning ones. It would absolutely not suprise me if he had help getting away. He's probably in someone's hunting cabin in another state. Believe me there are some nice ones.

I actually think that p@rn addiction is more prolific than ever. With smartphones, ability to film, view and share CSAM constantly has increased the use.
It's also more accessible to children, who should not watch it, period.

That is really going to be interesting. As you can make AI, a child any age, but is it "CSAM' when no child is involved?! Sick.
Animated porn has this controversial genre as well, and always has.

We'll eventually find out.

Yes, because AI are learning programs. They learn from what is fed into them. So, if an AI can produce CSAM, it's because it's been fed CSAM.

MOO

"Garbage in, Garbage Our". What movie is that from? I can't remember.

It's a common maxim for programming, I couldn't tell you what media it's been in.

It's why AI is such a nonsense engine, when you feed literally everything in and tell it to draw its own connections, the likelihood of it being right is low, because it doesn't have the discernment a person does to choose between sources for accuracy.

I would bet a good bit of cash that something like this has happened. -Signed, grew up in one of said small Appalachian towns

Ugh. Imagine being his wife and having no idea he is allegedly a paedo. It would be very hard to accept.

I really don't think he'll be found alive.

Any updates on Football Coach Travis Turner.... new post etc?

It could be a school ID picture.
Some states don’t allow you to smile for your license photo. A school photo would be better.

First time I've seen that in MSM, so now we can discuss the possibility, thanks.
As of right now…Travis is missing, & that’s all we know. We love him & need him here "with us…"

Well, no. He's isn't going to "here with us..." He's going to be held in jail.

True, but keep in mind she's also a victim - unless she's charged along with him, I feel sympathy for her. Can't imagine being in her shoes right now.

How old are their children? They could also potentially be old enough to be participants.

Obviously, a very difficult time for the family. His wife apparently did an interview on Dailymail. blocked except for subscriptions. But reading the comments of people who read the article provided plenty of information.

"....was told that... 24 hours...." (to file a missing person report)

Is that really a thing? I think people think it's a thing, but I always thought it absolutely wasn't a thing.

He left with a firearm. Shouldn't that bump up the urgency every time? Potential risk to himself and others.

Waiting 24 hours to find a man with a gun seems like a bad idea.

No state has a waiting period to report a missing person. Especially one that is armed.

He was so elevated in his role as a coach, that I don’t see how he could face this. It hits differently for someone who is worshipped publicly. Add in the fact that he was working with children. He would have faced a long road ahead and I think he may have ended his life to escape that.

In 2012 in Sweden a translator of Japanese manga books was sentenced in the local court, and in the District court for possessing CSAM as there was drawings of that looked to be children, naked or involved in sexual situations, in the books he was translating, The case went up to the Swedish Supreme Court, where he was acquitted, and the prosecution was rejected. Only one of from the beginning 51 (later 39) manga digital drawings were considered to look realistic enough, to be considered as CSAM, but as it was just one of a large quantity of manga drawings in his possession, and he was an expert on Japanese culture, and the drawings were a part of his work, he was aqcuitted for that drawing too.
From Wikipedia, translated into English:

In this case it was drawings, not AI, but I wouldn't be surprised if a similar case involving AI will be prosecuted, and end up in the Supreme Court in Sweden, probably/hopefully with a different judgment. I don't think there has to be genuine CSAM images involved to create AI images, the programs are getting more and more sofisticated, and realistic. The step from taking drawings to create AI-generated photos/films is not so wide anymore.

It is up to the juridical systems in different countries to decide the boundaries, when any photo posted anywhere on the web can be used for nefarious things.
