Van ploughs into Christmas market in Nantes, France

A van has been driven into a crowded Christmas market in Nantes, France Monday evening, injuring 10. The driver is also injured, and some reports are stating he stabbed himself after shouting Allahu Akbar. However, a local prosecutor has ruled out a terrorist link.

Yesterday, 13 people were injured in Dijon when a man drove into pedestrians while shouting Allahu Akbar (again prosecutors ruled out a terrorist link) and three policemen were stabbed by a man shouting the same, in their police dept, Saturday. He was shot dead.

'A van has been driven at shoppers at a French Christmas market in the city of Nantes and the driver is reported to have stabbed himself, officials say.

Ten people are reported to have been injured, five seriously.

The exact circumstances remain unclear, but the incident comes only a day after pedestrians were run down in Dijon.

The driver of that vehicle screamed "God is great" in Arabic. On Saturday, a man using the same phrase was shot dead by police after attacking them.

Earlier on Monday, French President Francois Hollande called for vigilance after Saturday and Sunday's attacks, and urged the public not to panic.'

It doesn't surprise me. The French deal with terrorism by denying it is happening. Therefore, it doesn't exist.
