For those inclined, you can search the address (posted upthread) in Google and view a cache of the Royal LePage listing.

I hope Tim's wife and child have nothing but peace and joy in their new home.

I also took some screen captures of the listing if anyone would like to see a photo of it

Being from the area (5mins drive from Bosma's house) it looks to me the house was priced to sell and have it done quickly/quiet. I can imagine if it was a long drawn out process there would be a lot viewings just to be nosy and because what happened. Houses in my area that are a bit smaller with much less land are selling for 1.2 and up. The area is hot and most of those are selling within 3 days max

It sold in a day? Never even hit the MLS? And sold firm, no conditions, otherwise it would still show as for sale? Wow.

ETA; Wow, that was incredibly quick if it only went up for sale yesterday as one of our members mentioned, who lives in the neighbourhood! Here is the listing agent's webpage showing recently solds; http://www.timargo.com/soldlistings.asp
That's incorrect. It was listed on October 19th and sold on October 31st. The only thing that shows up on realtor.ca are active listings, so once it's sold, it's no longer visible. Beautiful house and incredibly maintained, but for a single mom it would have been a lot of house and property to maintain. A lot of memories in that home for SB- wishing her all the best as she moves on with her life. MOO

I'm actually shocked she listed it. I remember specifically the tree she planted outside her daughter's window so she would always be reminded of her dad. Cherry blossom IIRC. (no clue why that stands out to me). The healing garden in her backyard and how she said she feels like home is where she feels TB presence most. Not the cemetery. What a tough decision that must have been. I hope she finds peace.

I picked up a copy of DARK AMBITION last night. Websleuth's gets quite the write up. Some flattering ..some not. Specific member posts are even quoted.

Do you think DM, MB, MS or CN will read this book?

(IMO DM's so vain, he's probably got it on pre-order)

From Twitter chatter today - Adam Carter (CBC) and Molly Hayes (Spec) confirmed that they will be live-tweeting the CN trial.

I certainly hope none of mine were in there as I was never asked for permission to use them.

I doubt it. First of all DM and MS have no access to the internet and the other two probably don't care.

You can't say things publicly and then say people need permission to repeat what you've said publicly.

DM and MS can get a hard copy. I think DM and MB, who spent a lot of time defending a certain image of DM, would be very interested in the public take on DM and family. Plus I think there is some family history about DM before the murders? (not sure.)

Of all named, I think DM is the most likely to read the book. He's got a huge ego - it would be impossible for him to ignore a book written about him.

I would think they would need my permission as I have been asked for my permission before after saying something publicly.

Checking in for the date of CN's trial? I only remembered it was in November.

That's talking about the website as a whole. There is such a thing as fair use where up to 10% of copyrighted material can be cited. Given the thousands of pages of material on Bosma alone, a few pulled quotes are obviously fair use.

yes possibly. I don't know a lot about copyright law. not sure the context in which it would have been used in the book, and not sure who would really care about the thoughts of people on an internet forum either, but such is life.

If you are quoted and named as Typhoo 1961 does it even matter?

Never mind.

Yes it does because it would have been nice to have been asked for my permission. That is called common courtesy.

I also use this nickname for other forums and I might not care for it to be in someone's book, especially when I think they are profitting from someone's death.
