So many people were critical of Chris and Sky Hughes. I hope everyone can hear this interview, he's so real imo. Very sincere and wants Travis' and his story out.

i don't think it is going to take them long at all.

Keep in mind one of juan's death penalty cases came back guilty of 1st degree in 15 minutes.

i would say before lunch but a lot of juries seem to like to come back shortly after lunch.

If they decide to go over the evidence before taking a vote then it will take longer. It all depends on the jury, nobody really knows.

A clue from previous juries is coming to court dressed up on the day the verdict is read.

Hughes says that Jodi said she was going to call her attorney on Monday. (Betrayed Travis and they don't know for sure what she had done to make him so upset.) Chris thinks Jodi may have blackmailed him with the sex tape and threatened to give it to Mimi. Or she says she lost her phone with the recording on it causing him to say you scammed me. I am going to sue you. (Chris's theory)

I say let JA have her supporters and secret lovers, because the only people she attraccts now are those like her. As long as they are enamoured with the likes of her, the safer our citizens are until that fad wears off. OOOH, Chris Hughes said during the May 26 email when Travis is telling JA she is the worst thing that happened to him... you have hurt me more than anyone, you scammed me, etc JA says in response that she is calling her attorney on Mon.! Obviously whatever Travis was calling her out on, it obviously could get her in legal trouble!

Jodi is so pathetic with throwing herself a "prayer vigil" knowing that people who love Travis are having one now. Well there is a HUGE turnout for Travis along with prayers pouring in from all corners of the earth.

After Travis was killed, Chris and Sky were able to read all of their emails. Obvious JA hacked into his emails.
He doesn't know what exactly happened on the 26th. He reveals for the first time that JA said she is going to call her atty on the following day in one of the last emails. His theory is: JA threatened to reveal the sex tape to Mimi. Or something similar. That outraged TA. She revealed that she had threatened him with that. He was hurt, betrayed, scammed by that.

I don't think it's a game changer, personally. But I think anything that results in confusion or controversy within the jury would probably benefit the defense. It's just too bad, because IMO it doesn't matter. But look at all the debate, not only on WS but in all the media. The MEs "mistakes" fuel this fire.

It becomes more crucial if they get to the aggravation phase and revisit the sequence of events.

I think they will simply look at the autopsy photos of the gunshot wound to his head and the other photos of his skull and brain that was introduced into evidence last week.

I don't think his report will cause any fire. They are human beings and knows everyone can make a mistake and knows no one is perfect.

His opinion is very sound based not only on what he found at autopsy but it bolsters and supports the actual forensic evidence found at the scene.

Imo, that is why the DT did not call their own pathologist.

At the risk of sounding shallow, which I am not, I don't get all the "beautiful" comments made in reference to JA. She was an average looking young woman, who put a lot of effort (fake hair, fake , plenty of "paint" and "wallpaper") into looking "sexy". Nothing wrong with that, many women do (Mrs W does!), but one cannot cover up the ugly that dwells within JA.

It's is a shame that our society is so hung up on physical appearances; I am NOT making "ugly" jokes about JA or anyone else!! Decent people are decent and evil people are evil - regardless of how they're put together!!

I do believe that Justice for Travis and his family is critical.

However, what we know of Jodi and Travis's relationship is only fragmented - and seen through the eyes of witnesses and emails years after it happened.

If I discovered that one of my son's was sleeping with an ex girlfriend, calling her names, talking nasty behind her back - while openly out there looking for a wife... well, look out kiddo - cause momma's comin and she's angry as a hornet.

That's just no way to behave. It's not worth killing over, or dying for - certainly. But when two people so completely twist a relationship into something really ugly - it can happen.

As for Sociopath - well, a number of psychologists examined her. There were 2 different diagnosis. Sociopathic personality wasn't one of them. And I believe the DMI includes that diagnosis.

She fits the criteria for ASPD. What was discussed in court about her was partial. In fact, DeMarte was stopped from continuing further by JM because it was not relevant to his case.

I think the BPD was to neutralise the PTSD defence and so it was salient. Antisocial doesn't really speak to the murder as presented by the defence, and it wasn't needed to bolster the prosecution's case because the evidence of premed is what matters. The BPD was simply a rebuttal to the defence.

I personally don't believe she has BPD. She scored so highly on so many scales because it suited her purposes. She's a liar and malingerer of the first order and you'd have to be really naive to believe that she wasn't trying to manipulate the data and that psychopaths can't game the system.

There is no way we saw the entire psychological picture.
