Does the jury know that? No.

No, but they heard her lie to their faces. She herself said she returned it to the same store she bought it. Nurmi was just trying to muddy the waters.

Supporters of murderers (aka as seen through Jodi/Donovan's tweetage) really exacerbate when the guilty verdict is about to come down and exacerbates for about 2 weeks after the verdict is rendered. I've seen it in every trial I've followed.

Just a little Public Service Announcement.

;)

You're so wrong about me. I most certainly do not support Jodi Arias. She is a demon overlord from the pits of hell.

Random and off topic but I had to share, because I feel so GOOD!

I got my first haircut in over two years yesterday and woke up feeling so freaking HOT! All my hair fell out for chemo in March 2011, and it was finally long enough to get back to the style I had. I have been in remission since the end of September 2011... I beat the cancer physically and I finally feel like I have beat the cancer emotionally...because I look like my old self again.

:great:
You smacked that nasty ol' cancer DOWN!! You be stylin'! woohoo!

Hey! Am I going to have to spray you ladies? :floorlaugh:

Not at all...we're just celebrating my pending nuptials with Dr. Horn. You're invited of course, we're registered at Nordstroms under Horny-Schub, I mean Horn-Schuby.

I'm looking forward to the day when the name "Jodi Arias" has no effect on anyone. I want her to slither back into being a nobody, with no platform, no attention, and not being "newsworthy" to anybody but her family. The next time I hear anything about her, I hope it's about her planned "injection."

I'm so happy for the families of the 3 missing young ladies, and even happier to see this story taking over the news. It has to be killing Jodi, to not be the center of attention.

As we all wait for a verdict we can collectively reflect back on this case.
Could JM have done anything better in presenting this case on behalf of the “state”?

ANSWER- “maybe; but unlikely”.

As pundits have complained in the past JM could have stayed out of the weeds and not pursued every tangent that the defense introduced in order to obfuscate. The jury, however, appears to have remained on course and were able to extract the essentials. This assumption is based on the quality of questions they posed.

I believe ME Horn was relatively weak. There is good reason for this.
After all, Horn, as Medical Examiner had to do hundreds of autopsies for the Phoenix police. To him, TA in June 2008 was merely another dead body. Horn pursued his usual and ordinary routine. Naturally he did NOT understand how crucial the question of wound timing would become. Also Horn in June 2008 did not realize the GSW to the frontal lobe would be a critical part of the state’s case. I firmly believe that in retrospect Horn could have done a much BETTER job analyzing the head wound and could have made findings about the substance of brain. That said however, the ME presentation of evidence was sufficient to prove the state’s case of murder and indeed murder 1.

bbm

Professionals, like Dr Horn, do their best job on every autopsy they do. You're right, Travis was a body on the table and was given the best investigation possible, just like any other body on the table. There are no "high-profile" people in the morgue, death is the great equalizer. Nobody gets a shoddy autopsy just because the Doc doesn't think the case will go anywhere.

And the "substance" of the brain was mush. Literally mush. I don't think there was anything he could have done with that.

Hindsight is 20/20. Dr Horn's work was an "A"

I'm not sure exactly what you've been doing all morning, it seems like you're "stirring the pot" for no reason.

Morning all :seeya: I have a great feeling today, I really do. Today is the day.....I totally feel that. F/U Arias you are done. You can tell your lies to YOURSELF while in that cell for 23 hrs. a day.

Totally O/T Kyle had a terrible night and a terrible nurse.....I wanted to snatch her hair out. He was sleeping on his back and started to throw up.....I freaked out! Apparently he is allergic to codeine. He starts chemo at 11:00.....gotta kill that tumor named "Jodi." Hell she really is cancer.

Sending good vibes and love to the Alexander family.....hang in there! She's done

I hope you are right that today we will hear a verdict.

Best wishes to young Kyle for a speedy recovery and a kinder nurse! Chemo is so not fun --- wish I could do it for him. He stays in my special thoughts.

Sugar free? That's like sex with your clothes on...it's close, but it's not the same.

Best thing I've read yet, other than the story on the three women found in Ohio!

I was watching No Reservations this morning with Tony being in Laos. At one point he was riding an elephant to a village that translated meant 'City of Elephants'. A sign?

Just saw first tweet of the day from Wild About Trial -- he's on his way to the courthouse. Now I feel like we're a big step closer.

Totally O/T, but a great person to follow on Twitter is Chris Hadfield (Cmdr_Hadfield), a Canadian on the Space Station. He posts the most amazing photos every day. A great reminder of how we're all on this amazing planet together.

You ROCK! Good for you, Super! Keep looking in the mirror! As often as you can! I am so glad you're back to being YOU! And thank you for sharing that with us!
