He must have really, really, really been PO'd!! Especially if he did cause the car "accident" on purpose! She didn't die, but at least she wasn't pregnant any longer. But, she ends up pregnant again! I was shocked to find out in this trial, MM's husband was supposed to be having an affair with another one of the sorority sisters.

I thought SS & MY weren't sorority sisters and had become acquainted because SS married JY's friend RS. My brain is beginning to hurt from all this reading I've done today. I wonder if MY would have confided that newly found information... she didn't to her sister, so why SS? I never knew one of my long-times husband was cheating on her repeatedly until way after the divorce. It was a pride thing for her, it was sad

The problem is she lied in her last statement 100% so she is most probably lying about the seat belt. From what I understand from people who know her she is the black sheep of the family if you can believe that and I do not believe at what she said about the seat belt, Clearly she is covering for her brother Does that sound familiar?

IMHO you can not take out 1 statement that you like. Look at the the context of the post. KY is not truthful.

I totally agree she was covering for her brother, but wouldn't she be doing a better job of that if she said Michelle was wearing her seatbelt instead of not?

I think I recall it being said the pregnancy was planned, and Michelle was very disappointed by Jasons response when she told him she was. If it was planned he likely pretended he wanted another child just to get the sex.

I agree, and he came out looking bad, no doubt about it.

But, you also don't know what people were trying to do to him and his family.

Maybe, it was just the surprise element of the thing, trying to catch him off guard.

Why would anyone go where somewhere is playing hoops and expect them to answer any questions, when you know he has been told not to talk.

Besides, this did not come into trial, so it really doesn't matter.

What were people trying to do to him and has family exactly? If it was an act of some serial killer or someone that had a grudge against the family Jason could have cleared this up. The public wanted to know that they were safe. His wife was bludgeoned to death with his daughter in the home. I just don't get why it's wrong the media or LE are interested in hearing from him. I don't see that as attacking his family. I've read numerous posts and comments and speculations all over the internet, about Meredith, Linda and even posts aimed to tarnish Michelle and that's okay?

I just don't know how that is doing something to him and his family. He looked like and acted like the cold-hearted sociopathic smug disgusting human being that he is.

You're right with it happening with your cousin.
But I believe with everything that unfolded in this case
the guilty party is on trial. I don't know the circumstances
behind your cousin's death but what could have possibly been
the motive at the Youngs house? I don't believe she was
sexually molested, nothing was really taken so I'm baffled :waitasec:

Wanting your freedom so badly and not wanting the costs of
a divorce could be a very good motive for Jason in my mind.

That's probably what I was thinking of then... somebody met their spouse through MY & JY, and it probably was SS. My brain is fried, I can't keep these people straight anymore... two hours of sleep with these dang storms because my neurotic dog goes nuts, 1/2 day of school for the kidlets with one coming home with a fever, and the run me here run me there teenager driving me nuts. I think that he knew his affair would come to light with MM, and I think he knew once that came out, everyone would start looking at him more suspiciously, which they did, I am sure. I know I would. Which is another reason I have to ask is why he would be on the cell with MM every waking moment, when he knew how bad it would look.
I do think he is selfish, and spoiled, and maybe even thought he was entitled to get some on the side. But, I don't think he murdered Michelle......they fought,they would continue to fight, that's what they always did. Nothing happened or changed in their marriage to make him want to kill her..imo

Wednesday (Nov 1 2006) Jason and Michelle got into a bad fight, she called her sister and told her (or maybe it was Shelly Schaad) that she had had it and she was done with her marriage to Jason. That fight (imo) rolled over into the next day/nite (Nov 2) (possible over the phone) and late that nite Jason drove back to Raleigh and murdered Michelle Young (IMO)

I hope that Michelle did not know about MM or CAS, those are 2 affairs he had.........The rest I don't agree with, I do think he loved her, but not enough to settle down and act married. Does not mean he killed her....

I just can't see how anyone would think Jason loved Michelle. He told her when she was first pregnant with Cassidy he wanted her to have an abortion and if she didn't he would resent her and Cassidy for the rest of his life. Michelle told therapist she had been sexually assaulted in college and that whenever Jason wanted to have sex with her, it was like he was raping her. (Obviously that is why she didn't want to have sex with him too often) So, what did he do besides make sex a nightmare for her, he went around and told everyone that would listen (his mother, her mother, her sister, day care workers, co-workers of his, their friends and his lovers that he didn't get enough sex ! And, he told Michelle SHE needed to go to therapy and get HERSELF "fixed" before he would go to counseling with her to save marriage. HE WAS THE CAUSE OF HER SEXUAL ISSUES ! He slept with anyone that would have him, including her sorority sister and women he had gotten her to trust (as his "friends"). The emotional and sexual abuse done to Michelle by Jason goes on and on. Just cannot understand how this translates to ANYONE that Jason loved Michelle ?????

The only way Jason Young would ever collect on a penny of that insurance is if someone else was arrested and charged for Michelle's murder.

Otherwise, that policy would have gone unclaimed for years.

What he was thinking and the logic he used, we do not know. You can not substitute your logic for that of Jason Young's. We can not pretend that he is "normal" when everything we've heard about him tells us that he is not.
