I hope that they keep Big Iisho Matthew Ward Jackson in a concrete brick cell for a long time as well.

Charges were dropped for MWJ on unrelated matters to this case, but they held him in jail regarding the sale of guns to DM.....can't remember what charges, will have to find that article.

Really, what's the point of asking about that tanking up? It can't be the two disputed truck sightings, as it doesn't fit in any time frame (if it was TB going to the gas station, he wouldn't meet DM and MS for at least 30 minutes since they passed the Supersucker in Yukon).

It could be some sort of a last ditch attempt to falsify or confirm Smich's testimony. Otherwise, if they want to reconstruct everything and draw inferences, it's going to take awhile and will come to the same seized state that we have here - whether Smich knew or not. And there is no single decisive evidence for that. It really is a matter of belief.

So far, the WS anti-popularity contest runs @ 93.5% for DM-M1 and 74% MS-M1. In other words, there is ~ 6.5% and 26% chance that any single juror believes they deserve a lesser charge. How that will transform into a collegiate decision is a different and interesting Q. IMO, they'll be judged on extremes. 2nd degree and manslaughter are very unlikely for either of the two.

I find it intriguing that the judge brought up the two dogs and a bowl of dog food example with the inference that one or both of the dogs ate it. Wasn't Millard reported eating dog biscuits? Did Millard empty the bowl? Was it deliberate?

Along a similar line, I've wondered if it's not so much about returning the gun, but more about getting the gun involved in a murder, and being in trouble with the Isho crew for that. (because it was traceable in some way eg. A gun that should have been kept clean) I've speculated in the past that the I f****d up comments were alluding to this

I think individuals that obtain the services of Big Iisho are planning on getting the gun dirty. Is "Bleach" the guy who cleans them? The idea that Big Iisho could be trusted to give some one a clean gun is almost laughable. He is a low life just like MS, DM and the rest of the gang of thieves. Who runs that strip club called Diamonds in Toronto where Iisho did his 🤬🤬🤬 rap video that is on youtube? Three guesses and the first two don't count? You think that Big Isho would be using the front of that club and their girls without being an "associate"? I don't. I think the whole bunch are part of a well known organized crime network. IMO DM and MS got themselves involved with an organized crime organization and committed this murder and robbery for the proceeds part of which did not go to them. They were in deep and MS was paranoid because his screw up made him vulnerable to being targeted by the very organized crime network he was so proud to be associated with. Is this a stretch? Yes it would make M1 much easier because murder that occurs to victims as a result of organized crime members carrying out their " missions" is First Degree Murder.

Don't we still just have a court reporter transcribing?

I don't know in this case but in a mental health hearing I attended, they also had a mic and recorded it in addition to the court reporter. Not sure how it's used. I'd think a court reporter might use it to verify his or her notes.

Still curious why there wasn't a 'causing an indignity to a human body' charge from LE to the accused. It seems common on other cases where has been tampering with the body.

I think this evidence will cinch the First Degree Murder for both. This would speak volumes to a jury I would think.

BBC's Graham Norton show has a segment with guests sitting in The Big Red Chair as they tell a personal and hopefully humourous tale. If the story fails to amuse, and it happens regularly....Graham pulls a lever, the chair tips back swftly and dumps the storyteller off set. It is such a silly slapstick routine but the crowd roars with laughter every time. The Chair could really lighten up the courtroom tension and might just move things along a little faster with a chuckle here and there.....

That show is great. That chair is great Every judge should have one.

MS's entire life hasn't been fully exposed at all. I have a feeling that there is just as much about MS's life that has been argued out. Remember, we are only hearing a tiny portion of the legal arguments today as most will be under publication ban until the LB trial is over.

LH said in her interview on the news how many things such as texts, rap lyrics, and other things I can't remember, were argued out and will be under publication ban until LB's trial.

IMO, MS isn't nearly as squeaky clean as he wants us to think.

Texts between DM and Smich about Laura, as well as mention of Laura in the jailhouse letters.

They use it as I described. A family member of mine is a court reporter/transcriber.

The dog biscuits eventually bite him in the *ss.

Did you hear or witness this in court or was it reported somewhere??? What did they say?

Not sure this means anything other then interest... But did anyone notice the ex JS was wearing red shoes in one of the engagement photos? Coincidence?

The CH news link on the previous page. The reporter said these things were ruled against and not allowed to be shown to the jury until Laura's trial.

FWIW MWJ's rap song "Red Shoes" is about red-soled shoes, aka Christian Louboutins. The shoes the model in the video wears are featured prominently on his IG page.

JS and CN were just wearing red-coloured shoes. In fact, CN's shoes weren't even that bright of a red - they were more of a cranberry/maroon colour.

Thanks. I know about the red shoes that's why I asked if it was a coincidence JS was also wearing them since many had speculation about CN shoes. Just something I found of interest

Thinking about the gas question. I had to go reference tweets, if they were looking at the 3 trucks on the super sucker video, I could see why they may ask the question. SB said in testimony TB was making the truck look pretty before the test drive. (SC tweets Feb 1) I actually had to think back... Did he take it to get fuel before the 2 arrived? I see after looking that is nowhere in the statements that I can find but it did make me think. Jurors don't have the references. Possibly one of the jurors notes reflected my same memory... JMO

I posted quite a while ago, asking if perhaps Tim had taken the car for a quick drive after having washed it for the viewing. I've always felt that was a possibility and if SB and WD were in the house, they may not have even known about it.

Actually, makes a lot of sense.
